We usually go movie/TV themed, but getting tired of people not knowing who we are. Might go with something more simple but funny this year...currently stuck on a hot dog theme for some reason 😄

Or I'd really love to wear Lady Liberty again if we can think of a good one for my husband to pair with it.

I made these chicken costumes for my first set of twins a few years ago. I had another set of twins, and I would like to reuse these chicken costumes, but still do a family costume that my 4 year olds can be excited about. Any ideas?

I’m trying to think of any accessories to add to this jumpsuit to make it more of a complete costume. Trying to think of things that are minimal as the wearer is a young toddler. I figured a little baby scythe would be funny if I can find one but other than that I’ve got nothing. Any ideas are appreciated!

Desde siempre me ha gustado halloween y me gusta preparar mis disfrazes al menos 1 mes antes de octubre. Tengo una amiga (o tenia alch no se) que normalmente me acompaña con su propio disfraz a fiestas o a pedir dulces, normalmente ella iba con un disfraz mas "normal" en sus palabras.

Hoy le conté de que seria mi disfraz (soy fan de los videojuego y de dnd, ya se imaginarán) y ella no solo me dijo que no le gustaba mi disfraz (que esta bien) sino que "era un disfraz de puros frikardos" y que ella no saldría conmigo porque "que vergüenza". Eso termino en una pelea porque ella que queria yo cambiará mi disfraz para hacer match con su disfraz y poner celoso a un man x y yo no quería. A la final se fue enojada y no se si fue culpa mia por no seder.

Que deberia hacer?

My first thought eas teddy Ruxpin. Another was cabbage patch kid and try to get the scent go really make it nostalgic… but I’d have to do a giant head mask or something. If done paper Mache before, making some large round bear masks, also some foam work making robot costumes out of foam….

But I’m definitely an amateur.

Hey all, I randomly obtained a muscle suit and was trying to think of a costume to put over it. I'm 6" even without shoes but thin. This thing adds muscle bulk that goes somewhere beyond MCU Cap/Thor size so I think a Venom morph suit would be perfect.

I figure one of you mega fans has to have done this before. Any sites you would recommend buying from? Any oddities when trying to find the right fit over a muscle suit (it includes legs and chest)?

I don't want the Rami Venom but the classic suit, the 90's cartoon, or Spider-Man 2's version would all be fine.

I'm a senior (16M) going into my last high school Halloween, and I'm not sure what to go as. I went as Hatsune Miku last year (as a joke, mostly) and matched with my friend, and I was thinking of "1-upping" myself this year and wearing a made costume. However, I get the feeling that this might be taking it too far because I am a straight male and I'm not matching with anyone.

I'm not sure what I'd go as (I couldn't find any ones for things like MK from clash royale or anything like that and I'd rather not customize an entire outfit for one day).

Any advice is appreciated, so thanks in advance!

I'm looking for ideas on how to incorporate my gold dragonscale shoulder chainmail. I know the obvious Ren faire outfits or dragon rider etc. But does anyone have something thats a tad more punny or niche? I'd be open to group and couple costume ideas as well.

I’m trying to dress up as Rogue from the xmen but I don’t want to have to buy a wig but I can’t seem to find any good TEMPORARY hair dyes/waxes or something so I can just put it on the front strands of my hair? Do any of you have any recommendations from past costumes?

Hi I will be roughly 4 months pregnant when Halloween finally gets here. Super early I know, but hoping to have some sort of a bump by then (🤞🏼) as I think it would be fun to dress up. But we are having a hard time finding ideas! We don’t really have a theme or an idea, we are into movies but just shoot whatever you can think of and maybe we will finally choose! Obviously we have time but would love to see creative and funny ideas you think/ have done!

Specifically the dark pink underbust piece. I want to cosplay as Adeline from fields of mistria for halloween but I can’t figure out what it is for the life of me.

These are the past two years of amateur costumes I have done. The Medusa one I spent a lot of time on, and had so much fun with the headpiece. The nurse one was just a silly same day idea that was executed, but this year I really want to have a month of working on a terrifyingly beautiful costume. Any ideas? I want to try to win a local contest. I also would like to be more out of the box, and my google doesnt show me any ideas that are remotely scary haha. Thanks!

I had success last year so I’m doing it again this year - now is a great time to declutter costumes for Halloween. I realized my daughter will pick her own costumes from now on and I don’t need to save group or kid costumes for “some day” which is years away. I posted in my fb mom group for kid/family group costumes and buy nothing for dog costumes. All got taken right away. Early September is a great time for people starting to think about Halloween, before they buy something!

Ive had to start using a cane recently and will likely still be needing it around Halloween. Any ideas for fun costumes that have a cane would be greatly appreciated!!

my friend wants to do a duo costume but our styles are totally opposite. i wanted to be a raver vampire this year but she wants to be m and ms? I js thought it was a tad basic. i was gonna be jimmy and whatsername with my bf but she wants to duo with me instead. anyway i wanna avoid basic duo ideas cause halloween is only once a year! but still have a duo where i get to be cool and horror and she can be all cutesy and not over the top. We were thinking siren and cute sailor, a lot of friends told me wednesday and enid (?) but its just...not my thing. I know we got a while till halloween, just wanted to brainstorm early. anyways, thanks!

My plan is to make a "slasher chimera" costume, essentially being a mashup of various different horror characters (since this \*is\* a ghostface hockey mask after all). However, outside of Freddy's razor glove, I'm not sure what else to add like the actual outfit itself. I've thought about coveralls to represent Michael Myers or a "Good Guys" shirt from Spirit Halloween to represent Chucky and a chainsaw/apron for Leatherface. I have quite a few props and clothes at my disposal so any suggestions would be great!
