Donna and Gordon are having a great 4th. They skip camping and stay home enjoying a quiet house as a married couple.

That night during pillow talk Donna compares camping to insanity even though Gordon had been reminiscing about their camping trips all day.

Gordon goes into a funk, and the next morning he cleans up the camping stuff and the house, bails on breakfast and goes to HAM radio by himself.

Here's the question?

Was that when he knew his marriage was over? That Donna wasn't the person he thought she was?

Wow. What a season of television.

This is a massive jump up in quality after season 2.

This is the show working at its highest level. Especially with the character work. I love how the characters dedicate where the story goes and I love the direction and realism in it.

I didn't expect the show to get this good but it did.

The character work in this season was insane. It was brilliant to the point where it made me shed a tear.

Cam and Joe's dynamic in this season was perfect.

Gordan's character work was phenomenal.

Not only is this the shows best season YET. It also features the shows best epsiode YET. Which is Threshold.

The acting in that epsiode was OFF the CHARTS.

Wow. I felt that. It moved me. And the next episodes after that was magnificent.

I can't give it any lower than a 9. It was that good. For how it build up to that point. The character work and how well realized they are was beautiful.

All four main characters were well written this season. Can't wait to finish season 4. I'm on epsiode 4 right now.

Wow. This was intense.

I went in thinking it would have a very unbalanced season 1. But I found it way better than people let on.

The build up to epsiode 9 was brilliant and it closed off the season quite well.

The character work is honestly great. I love the dialogue and all aspects of the show is firing at all cylinders.

I would rate this season (8.7/10)

I really found the latter part of this season very strong.

I heard the Mad men comparisons a lot. But it's different.

I loved the main lead character and the deconstruction of his character through out the season that showcases how much of a facade he can put off

I posted this late. I already watched seasons 2 and 3 and busy with 4 right now.

I love the change of direction this season took for the better.

Took me a while to get used to the new setting and direction but by the end of this season. I was settled in.

The character work is always getting better as the seasons go. Especially with Donna in this season and Gordon. It seems to be centred around their relationship and the troubles they go through and overcome it.

Joe always developed into a different character. Less insecure and more sure if himself rather than the facade he was pulling in season 1.

I will admit that this season didn't start strong but ended strong. And Season 1 I found to be stronger than this season even if season 2 is still great. I found season 1 the stronger season considering that it also had the best epsiode of the 2 seasons. (Epsiode 9).

Season 2 gets a (8.3/10) rating

Hey.... so I've thought this for a long time. And even mentioned it, in passing. But no one really talks about the art on the walls, they are often ogling in various episodes.

I love this easter egg. And I've struggled to find copies online of the art, to hoard for myself..

But you'll notice they are always linear. Literally they are usually lines. They change directions though, like an event happened. They've changed, or grown.

It's them. Their story arc is in the paintings!
