I used to work for Hardee’s when they made the switch of their cups. They downsized all of their drink sizes and got rid of the kids size. Even us as employees were thrown off but like other commenters said it is considered standard size in other places

Breakfast or lunch? McDonald’s uses a small as a standard drink size in their breakfast combos.

Yeah these started transitioning about six weeks ago. Small went from 20 oz to 16 oz, medium went from 24 oz to 22 oz, and large went from 32 down to 30. Us employees weren’t happy about it either. I surprisingly haven’t had any customer complaints, though!

Interesting. I was just a little thrown off how the prices have only gone up and now the sizes are getting smaller. But they are happy to “make it a large“ for a fee.

We raise prices every April. And they tend to do this every couple of years… when I first started almost five years ago, a large was 44 oz. Medium was the 32 and small was 24.

Here come all the health nut communists telling you to just be healthier and want less things and you should be happy that they downsized everything but kept raising prices just for you and your health!

Yes, this would be considered a standard size in most other countries, especially in Asia were portions are a lot smaller.
