As the title says im looking for some headphones suggestions ive recently stopped using my sony wh-1000xm5's due to them breaking so im looking for something with atleast pretty good sound quality, wireless, with at least decent noise cancellation id like them to be budget friendly the max im willing to spend would probably be around 250 (due to me seeing the xm5's on sale for 200). I dont want them to have the same cheap feeling the xm5's had either the plastic felt so weak and brittle. the noise cancellation doesnt have to be top tier like sony but atleast decent to stop some wind or just loud talking when im trying to study or something of that sort. my main headphones as of now are the moondrop para so something of similar sound quality with preferably heavier bass would be great.

I own a great 1000w 5.1 speaker+subwoofer setup on my desk but looking for a headset because I cant be blasting loud sound and extreme bass on my speakers every day due to neighbors.

If there is a high end headphone that can deliver thunderous, deep bass with wide soundstage and clear vocals? I have no price limit so if any headphone can deliver that I would love to know.. ( will probably get a dac/amp to go with them)

first I was looking at HD800 s but they dont have that bass required for immersion in movies. Looking at Meze Empyrean 2 currently but not sure about the bass

Hello, I have been thinking about switching up my headset for my PC. I currently use DT880 Pros w/o an amp since I am not that deep into the headphone space. I have had these for around 5 years now, and they are nice (I think?). I have always thought they were a little quiet, so I started thinking that maybe I am missing out on something. I've never heard things while gaming/listening to music or whatever and have been impressed or blown away. They are really comfortable though!

I am kind of wanting to try something new. I was thinking about switching to wireless headphones to do away with the cable and to be able to move around in my room with headphones on. After looking around for a bit, kept seeing things about the Audeze Maxwell 2s. I am actually quite curious to see if they sound significantly better than my current headphones, but I am worried about all of the complaints regarding its weight. I don't want headphones if they are not comfortable. I looked up how heavy my current headphones are, and apparently, they are only like 295g. Quite the weight difference between these and the Maxwell 2s.

What are some recommendations you guys have? I think I want them to be closed back, since the ones I have now are open and I hear a lot of my family & dogs barking often. It is not that bad, clearly since I have been rocking these headphones for the past 5ish years.

I recently started having issues with my Bose QC Ultra Gen 1s a little over one year after purchase. They connect to my devices perfectly fine, but play no audio at all. I can get them to work every once in a while by just letting them sit and an indeterminate amount of time later they function as normal. Unfortunately, whatever is causing this issue is also limiting the function of the headphone jack, as using the included cord does not allow them to play sound either. Most of the solutions I have found posted online do absolutely nothing for me, so I've accepted the fact that it's likely a hardware issue and there's nothing I can do for them myself. From what I've found online from other Gen 1 QC Ultra users, this seems to be a pretty consistent issue with them, which has lowered my trust in Bose as a brand.
My old pair was unfortunately out of the time range for coverage under their warranty, but they offered me a discount on upgrading to the QC Ultra Gen 2s. Does anyone have experience with Bose QC Ultra Gen 2 headphones? If so, do you think they're worth purchasing? Otherwise, I am open to other brand suggestions. I'm just looking for something that will actually stand the test of time, preferably with noise canceling and bluetooth capable with a physical jack as well if possible. I'd say my price limit is probably around $400-500, but I'm not necessarily opposed to going higher if they really work well and last long. I'm just very frustrated with my current pair and I'm willing to invest a good chunk of money into my next pair so long as they have decent sound quality and actually hold up for a good few years. All perspectives are appreciated!

My budget is preferably under 200eur, but i could be tempted up to around 350.

Previous headsets I have tried:

Arctis nova 7: alright headphones, hated the software (had a lot of bugs that ended up needing a pc reboot to fix)

Razer blackshark v2: decent, still hurt slightly even after replacing the earpads and stretching it out on a brick for a few nights

Logitech g pro x: too small. Hurt.

And perhaps surprisingly my favorite headphones so far: nubwo g06

They're not spectacular by any means.. but they just work. And they don't hurt me

But the audio and build quality are a bit lackluster.

Any other headsets I've tried hurt too much for me to bother remembering them, like a cheap old turtlebeach i forgot the name of etc.

I don't want random crackling or my mic crackling

So due to an appartement change and changes to the arrangement of my setup, wired headphones wouldn’t really work/be practical for me (want to use them with my TV which is like 20 feet away from my computer and TV will be connected via a fiber HDMI).

I own HD 560s, and have tried 490 Pros before (great pair, super comfy). I was wondering if there exists something like that but wireless?

So I bought the Hifiman Sundara and I absolutely love them (except the issue ive had with them with crinklin drivers), love the fast planar, BIG soundstage and with +9 bass from my ZH3 they re absolutely a monster both in games/music or movies. Btw, paired with my apos gremlin they sound shit 
)). Anyways my birthday is coming in 4 days and wanted to treat myself with an upgrade. I ve been looking at the 500-750$ range so: 1) SIVGA Peng 2) Fo si Audio i5 3) Focal Azurys 4) Fiio Ft7 5) Focal HadenysI like the philosophy of the planar I like big soundstage i like bass and instrument separation, details. I havent had any good other type of headphones as this is my first good pair xddd so I cant compare with other. Also in my country the Focal Hadenys are 540$, the fiio ft7 750$ and the fo si i5 around 590$, Focal Azurys 450$. And also smbdy told me about Hongshu EH-1 which are 650$ but not that accesible

Hi all. So, my current pair of headphones, (beyerdynamic DT 700 Pro X) are on their way out & I'm looking for a replacement.

Budget - £200-250

Type - Wired preferred but willing to entertain wireless, closed back & over ear

No noise cancelling needed, no microphone needed. They'll be kept on my desk & connected to my PC, used for music listening, video watching & playing games. As far as sound profiles etc go, I prefer balanced/neutral. Not a huge fan of big bass boosts etc. Preferably well built & sturdy. While they won't be subjected to anything rough I tend to have very bad luck (the frame on my DT 700's is falling apart).

Any suggestions/recommendations would be appreciated as I'm a bit lost to what to look for myself.

I've been using my Bose QC 35 since 2016 and they're still working fine, but I've been thinking about getting an upgrade. Realistically, I only use them at home and always plugged in, so buying another pair of wireless ANC headphones feels like a waste. ( That's what I had in mind first before pondering the topic. )

I did some digging and saw popular recommendations like the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro, DT 700 Pro X, or DT 900 Pro X. Do you think going this route would be a noticeable upgrade over the QC 35?

Quick summary of my setup and needs:

- Comfort is key : I have a big head, wear glasses, and keep headphones on for hours.

- Source: Plugged straight into my Logitech speakers control pod (can buy a small DAC later if needed).

- Open vs Closed : I live alone in a quiet place but use a mechanical keyboard. Never tried open-backs before, so not sure if the sound leak/keyboard noise would bother me. I'm autistic and can easily get distracted by noises and other sound disturbances.

- Stuff I listen to : I'm not an audiophile and I don't listen to high quality audio files, mostly youtube and gaming.

I checked some options in my country and a friend of mine recommended the Senheiser Momentum 4. I googled and found out there's already a Momentum 5 in the market, but in my country, is considerably more expensive. I have the budget for the 4, but the 5 is pushing a bit.

So i want to start streaming and i need a headset that works for both laptop and xbox series s, I've been thinking of getting a hyperx headset but the reviews are a bit mixed (some saying the microphone is bad and some saying its good) if you have any other headsets i could get then please let me know or if you think hyperx is good, i dont want to spend more than 200 as im on a budget and i want the mic to be good because past experiences with headsets aren't good i don't have a preferred tonal balance btw (it keeps asking me to say about that)

Mostly audiobooks is what I’ll be using them for, but also music. Comfort is a priority as I’m sensitive to discomfort. I already purchased earbuds and can’t stand them in my ears as they hurt my ear canals and make them wet inside, so I’m thinking open backed ones would have more airflow to keep that from happening with headphones.
I also want lamb skin pads as I’m trying to stay away from artificial materials due to my health issues.

Hello! I’m looking for suggestions for some wireless earbuds and am having a difficult time figuring out whats right based on online reviews. My budget is up to $350, and I currently have the JBL Vibe Beam 2 and also AirPods Pro 3. I honestly like the JBL ones more because they don’t just sound clearer, but the AirPods just really lack the bass that I like. I will not be using these for any studio stuff, just everyday listening. Might also be helpful to say I listen to a lot of metal and rock music. Bands anywhere from Breaking Benjamin to Lorna Shore and pretty much everything in between when it comes to different metal genres. Im new to the audiospace and want to get a closedback headphones because i am typically around others.

I have tested the 770 pro (80 ohm) in store and I am deadset on it however the store is offering a deal where the pro x is ten dollars cheaper than the pro non x. Should I get the pro x? Im unsure about the differences besides creature comforts, lower impedance and more modern drivers.

I am looking for a closed back headphone that can be powered easily by the dual sense controller. I would also prefer it is one I can add a mic too easily.

I know open back is better and I tried out the kithara and h6 air but the noise leak from the headphones gets picked up the mic as discord on the PlayStation doesn’t have Krisp or noise gates.
