OD Green USP .45s have arrived! Ordering begins on Friday, September 4th at 11AM Eastern :)
Alright! Here is a pretty big update. The standard, full-size USP .45s have arrived.
We will open up orders for these on Friday, September 4th at 11 AM Eastern using the page below:
Heckler & Koch HK USP .45 V1 12-Round Pistol, OD Green Frame
Like the last launch, the plan will be to pack everybody's pistols over the weekend and have them leave on Tuesday, the 8th (UPS doesn't pick up on Labor Day the 7th). It gives us a little more time to prepare for shipping and collect everybody's FFLs.
If you already have a local gun shop picked out, please feel free to put their name and physical address in the order notes/comments section. That will allow us to really speed up the process.
If you grab more than one pistol, we will make sure you receive consecutive serial numbers :)
Again, thank you so much for your love and patronage! These runs require a lot of things to go right -- and they're certainly not possible without y'alls help and support. Y'all rock!
Cheers,
Sol and the Sweatshop Gang

MR556 A4 and MR762 A4 Questions
Fellow HK enthusiasts/poors/nerds, long time lurker, first time poster. Have two questions for the group because I don't want to create two separate posts in an effort to simplify things.
Just picked up my grail 5.56 rifle in an MR556 A4 11". Looking for suppressor recommendations for it. From all of my research I've gathered over the past couple of months, seems like a HUXWRX 556k/Ti is the most recommended based on these loving the low back pressure designs and apparently it being the only brand that HK will warranty (I emailed CS and they didn't exactly specify, just that to trust the mainstream/reputable brands), but open to more options. NODs are on the table as well, so night shooting is a possibility in the future, so that could change options on whether or not to get a Ti can as well.
The HK-bug is real, and I'm looking at getting an MR762 A4 as well. Not entirely sure what I'd want out of a semi-auto .308/7.62, so just looking for some opinions and thoughts on whether y'all would recommend the 13" Assaulter or the 16.5" DMR. Long range is something I've always thought about getting into, but the vibes of the Assaulter are unmatched to say the least. I do have a 20" Weatherby in .308 that I could potentially use as a long range rifle, however it's always just been dedicated to hunting and would probably require some glass updates up top. And same kind of deal with the previous question in what suppressors y'all would recommend, both for the 13" and the 16.5".
Thanks in advance!

KAK Plan B K415 Flash Hider
KAK just dropped a plan B compatible mount that takes heavy inspiration from the HK 416A5 and G95 style muzzle devices. I’ve had good luck with their other plan B muzzle devices. Only 1/2x28 at the moment.

The Svelte USPc, the P2000.
The P2000 is such a sleeper of a handgun. Understandable why HK discontinued it. It’s a shame it wasn’t as popular as the USPc.

First USP-9. How'd I do?
Just got this baby for $700 at a local gun shop. It came with only one 10-round magazine. It has some holster wear and I have a suspicion that this is one of the early ones.
Anyways...how'd I do?

GrayGuns Short reset??
I recently purchased a used p30L and noticed it has a silver control latch. It doesn't feel like a super short reset, but I have nothing to compare it to since I'm new to the p30
Does anyone know if they are always black from factory or if this is a grey guns SRS? Something else?
Manufactured in 2023

Quick little range trip
Quick range trip to shoot the VP9CC and also testing out the Shiv on the USPC.
Only had one failure to feed on the USPC but this was the first time using the aftermarket barrel and using the Shiv. I was also alternating round nose 115 and flat nose 147 so it was likely induced by that.

Mags!
Well I finally snagged a USP 9 full-size and were the same age with date codes of AA. Terrible joke I know but you laughed. Anyways, I've always wondered why no brand makes full metal aftermarket mags for this. So I took a short bit of time to make P30/VP9 mags fit. Properly spaced, feeds dummy rounds flawlessly, and locks back. Hoping to get to the range soon to test it out.

Blue thread on vp9 trigger bar?
Just got factory new vp9 put about 200 rounds through her “sick gun” but cleaned it before shot it and now cleaning again noticed a blueish thread sticking out the aft side of the trigger bar? Looking through owner manual and can’t seem to find anything?
Weird but actually believe it was primer sealant from some of the HSTs I had ran through it…

P2000 Hammer Spring
I converted a stock P2000 V2 to 4.1. According to this chart, I'm still using the V2 hammer spring (part 214695). Does anyone know or have experience with changing the hammer spring to the Light LEM HS (part 214300)? Would this create any issues?
Thanks in advance.

VP9-B Optics Read factory rear sight loose in dovetail
I picked up a VP9-B optics ready last week and got it in today. and noticed when I got home that the rear optics/suppressor height sight is a little loose in the dovetail. not enough to where it's flopping around. But enough to where I can wiggle it back and forth ever so slightly in the dovetail with just my fingers. I can see it move if I put it under a light when I manipulate it too.
is this normal? or something I should contact HK about? I picked up the Vp9a1 K - B as well today while I was out, and it has regular sights, but sits rock solid in the dovetail
EDIT: I whiggled them a bit with my fingers and suddenly they tightened up. I can still move them with my fingers, it's just no longer just sliding side to side with finger pressure. but when it moves, it moves to the left of center and stops, and to the right of center, and stops there.
EDIT 2: looks like I'm calling HK in the morning. I went out to the back of the ranch to test fire a mag. my aim was ALL over the place. at the end of the mag the rear sight was half way out of the dovetail and I could literally just slide it in and out of the dovetail with light finger pressure. looks like the ONLY thing holding it in place was some loctite .

First target shots with P30L
Just got my P30L V3 beginning of August. First 250rd were at steel and other targets for fun. Today I went to range and did 200rd of targets. I'll admit I'm not a good pistol shooter, but I definitely shoot other pistols better. Red target was rapid fire with DA first Shots. Blue Targets are 5" fired in SA.
All 10yd
Last pic is 5 shot slow fire. I called the one way left as soon as i squeezed it off. I'm running medium back and large sides. The large back hump was hurting hand.

VP9
Is a stock vp9 with one mag for 425 a good price? Or should I wait for the gunshow
Edit: it's a vp9 sk

For the guy with the new adapter plates for metal mags on a USP9…⚠️Metal mags contacting a polymer mag release tab isn’t a great combination because over time the metal mag can wear down the polymer mag release tab a lot quicker. There’s a reason HK uses polymer OEM mags for the USP9/USP40.
⚠️Metal mags contacting a polymer mag release tab isn’t a great combination because over time the metal mag can wear down the polymer mag release tab faster. There’s a reason HK uses polymer OEM mags for the USP9 and USP40. Newer HKs like the P2000 and P30 use metal tabbed mag releases, so metal mags are perfectly fine in those. The USP45 is the exception in the USP lineup since it also uses a metal tabbed mag release, which is why its OEM mags are metal. The USP9 and USP40 use polymer tabbed mag releases.

11" MR556A4- worth every penny
Final build (maybe lol). ~1k rounds through it, no hiccups. I love this thing man.
P.s. buy a rifle you enjoy looking at every day.

P30 Fixed up ☝️
For anyone with mutated hands that can’t shoot the p30 without the gun treating your finger like an all you can eat buffet. I can confirm this works. Thanks for all the recommendations.
Ended up doing the “Vickers Mod” as well as cut the mag release down to a nub (I never use the left side release but I kept a small nub in case of emergencies) I know it’s not perfect and can probably use some more polishing but I’m probably going to get the lower cerakoted anyways
Finally can enjoy the damn gun, now I just need to save up some will power and money to get the slide cut.
