8 more highpoints down. 22/50
Just did a trip up north from Texas and down through the midwest with the boys.
Minnesota, Kansas, South Dakota, Nebraska, North Dakota, visited mount Rushmore, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Iowa. We also got to have our first ever beers together in Canada.

It was awesome just kinda scary with all the buffalo warning signs. Boondocking in the plains to the south was my favorite campsite of the trip.

What are photos number 1 and 5? I can’t tell which ones they were. That was an epic trip by the way. LOTS of driving.

1 is Minnesota and 5 is north Dakota, it was a lott of driving over 6 days.

I have 2 trips loaded in the chamber for us right now, we are hoping to get Whitney permits next summer and do Humphreys and Whitney at the same time, if we don't get permits then I have a northeast trip that hits north Carolina and Tennessee (mountains we missed on a precious trip), Maryland, west Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode island, Ohio, and indiana.
We aim to do one trip every summer and one in the spring but both those trips are summer trips.

If you get the Whitney permit, make sure to allow a few days to acclimate prior. Will make for a far more enjoyable hike.

Michigan was a doozy because Mount Curwood is the true high point (new surveys have shown it’s like 6 inches taller than Arvon) and much more difficult to get to

Yeah I had the issue when I planned the trip I just went off of the highpointers website

Watch out for altitude sickness. :)
