Number 10! Mt Elbert

Beautiful trail. Started at 430am solo. Spotted 4 mountain lions within the first 2 miles. That woke me up! Last 2 miles were work! Number 10 in the books.

First time ever seeing a mountain lion in 2 decades of hiking. I couldn’t believe it!

Insane to see 4 mountain lions in one day. I have only seen 2 in a couple thousand hikes.

Congrats on Elbert.

My fear of mountain lions always intensifies in the dark, I just read that mountain lions are most active in the early dawn and dusk hours
