I’m into making wreaths. I think they are cute and I get a lot of compliments on them. The problem is I can’t seem to sell them. Some of them are gathering dust at a local shop that offered to display them. Others are stacked high in my craft room. They give me a lot of satisfaction to make but I’m running out of space.

Do you have a hobby you love that is getting to be a space hog? How do you handle it?

I am trying to hard to decrease my social media time, i love crafting but when im tired i can't bring myself to do it. I know tiktok is my pacifier but I am trying to think of a hobby for when I am drained (which is every night and morning). I have tried reading (which i love but I dont always want to read), crocheting (too much thinking because I am still new), and even diamond art (i am still finding diamonds around my house...)

Any ideas out there that's not scrolling? My only other requirement other than brain power is it has to be able to be done in bed as I have a health condition that makes me very physically and mentally tired.

Hi i'm new here ☺️ I was scrolling for a bit and you guys have so many interesting hobbies and little collections. How do you guys find a hobby and think, "yes, this is going to be my thing now." Something that I struggle with is maintaining my interest and consistency. Even doing something for 20 minutes, every day I struggle to stay consistent with that. I haven't really attempted hobbies in a long time because I know I won't really complete any of them. It ends up being a bunch of half started projects. Right now I just journal, read my college books, and dance to Just Dance with my daughter (4) aka her obsession. I have adhd and struggle with depression on and off. I know other people who struggle with the same things still have hobbies, so idk why I struggle so hard to keep one. I'm 26, and I really want to manifest my crafty or artsy girl era :3. I am curious about 3D acrylic painting among other ideas. I don't feel like I am particularly talented or creative, so I worry about making mistakes. I also know that making mistakes is part of the process, and I'm trying to not be overly critical of myself. I also worry about spending a lot of hobby for me to stop halfway, I'm on a budget :3 and I would hate to be wasteful. Kind words, advice, or recommendations would be helpful. Hello everyone, I’m not really into car collecting so I was wondering if these things have any value or should I keep them for my room. We got these from my mom’s friends who was big into collecting toy vehicles. They were in their 70’s and they no longer wanted to keep them. They’ve been sitting in the closet for some time now and I plan to either sell or keep some of these.

For me, it’s whenever I sit down to color, draw, or do any kind of little art/craft activity. 😂

Something about just sitting there with colors and making random things feels exactly like being a kid again. No productivity, no purpose, just doing it because it’s fun.

I've been thinking about  trying something new lately, and it got me wondering what hobbies people randomly stumbled into and ended up loving.

For me, it was cooking. I honestly didn’t think I’d be into it at first, but now I can easily lose a few hours trying out new recipes and messing around in the kitchen lol.

If you know you’ll be somewhere where you’d have plenty of time to spare, what would you bring with you? Like work, school, travel, commute, etc. For hobbies on the go, it definitely has to be something easy to carry around.

I love mind games/puzzle books, so I usually bring like a Sudoku or word search booklet. Or my latest knitting project depending on the size.

I would love to find something new to do during my free moments to lower my phone usage.

The weirder the hobby, the better imo lol.

Do you listen to music/podcasts? Stare out into the horizon in pure silence? Crosswords, sudokus, etc? Knitting, crochet, embroidery, sketch, etc? Watch movies/shows? Play on your phone? Read a book? Anything else?

24F here. Part time nurse (3-4days a week)
I have tried everything i think i could!! Knitting, crocheting, paint by numbers, jigsaw puzzles, lego, book nook but i eventually get bored of it and want something more engaging. I have done plenty 1000pc jigsaw puzzles and i feel like i need more of ceramic or 3D puzzle kinda stuff but I don’t know where to find a good one.
I am open to any anyyy suggestions at all that could challenge my brain but also relax on my days off.
I do read books when i find my mind wandering around to keep it at bay, but need more interacting stuff.

Hey everyone! I’m currently looking for a skill I can learn from scratch that could eventually help me make some money online.
The main thing is that I don’t have a budget to invest right now, so I’m looking for something I can start learning and practicing completely free, and then use to get actual clients/freelance work.
I don’t want one of those “make $5,000 in a week” things 😭😂. I’m looking for something realistic that:
I can learn for free
Doesn’t require expensive software or investment
Has actual demand and clients
I can start freelancing with eventually
Has good earning potential as I get better
Would also be useful for my future career
What skill would you recommend if you were starting from zero today?

I’m a student going into grade 12 in September but have completed my high school and uni requirements early, giving me a free second semester. I absolutely despise being bored and am open to taking up anything (besides an instrument, I play guitar and thats more than enough for me lol). As a side note before anyone says it, I would love to travel but don’t have the money for it. Any suggestions on how to fill these 6 months are appreciated!!
