Question Hard Apple Cider
Hello all. Awhile back my friends and I wanted to try and make some hard apple cider and long story short, we kind of just left it aside for awhile and only really rebottled it once. We moved it to this jar around February of this year and have still yet to bottle it. There is only a little bit of yeast build up on the bottom. My question is, is this okay to bottle and drink straight up? We are a little worried that we might get sick or something so we want to be cautious before we proceeded (this is also our first time attempting to do any sort if home brew) Thank you !

if it smells clean and not off, bottle cold with a campden tab next time for better shelf life

You’ll know two ways, first, what’s the top look like. Is it fuzzy? That could indicate a problem.
But other than that, you’re just gonna have to taste it.
Your palate will not let you ingest anything that will actually hurt you, especially if you care how it tastes.
