Barn layout ideas
Barn layout ideas needed! Bought a metal garage 26’x42’ at auction with 2 garage doors on one end. Looking for ideas how to lay it out to use for male and female goats, milking/equipment room, birthing stalls, and stalls for pigs/chickens/rabbits. Any and all ideas are appreciated!

A 26x42 metal shell is a solid canvas. Since the doors are on one end, I'd run a central aisle straight back from them and use that as the spine for everything else.
Put the milking and equipment room near the front where the doors are. Easy in and out for supplies and you'll thank yourself not hauling milk through the whole barn. The birthing stalls can go behind that so they're in the quiet middle area. Goats at the far end with their own exterior door if you can cut one in, keeps the buck smell somewhat separated from the rest. Pigs and rabbits can take a side wing near the front since they're messier and you'll want quick access for feeding.
