Am I supposed to be trying to get the highest possible answer with 7’s or am I trying to use combinations of 7 to equal the number on the left?

I tried to fill in some words but im not confident on how correct they are

I am using netbeans IDE. My GUI wont display the plum colour I've chosen for the buttons (example on 2nd slide). I have not changed anything with the code and it was working fine a few hours ago. Has anyone else had this problem?
