The MH i feel, even since the early days, has been a quiet sopt off to the side. While the game has changed a lot it still feels like it is over in that shady corner of the room. So I got to thinking, dangerous i know, where does it fit?
So I used it, a lot, and now i see it, first is the easy things, its damage, its reload speed, long ammo penetration and drop off, its a very balanced feeling rifle that is only let down by its bullet velocity, but it is dirt cheap as compensation.
Yet then I started to notice its true strength, while the sparks is the 149 hitter, the long ammo bolt actions are high speed low drag and even the new 1890 carbine beats it out with its 3 slot utility and faster bullet speed, it has a subtle, quiet power above the others in just one respect.
And that respect is not in its outright combat proformance, it is in its, endurance.
Including the round in the chamber, it has 21 total rounds of ammunition, that is its strength. It does not cut like a laser in the battles that are decided in seconds. It warms like the sun on a long cool spring day. The longer the fight, the more it shines. When everyone else is scarce for ammo boxes in those odd fights in the woods, you have reserves.
That is its peace of mind, and those fights do come up, its slightly west of Lawson station in the woods, whole server decides to fight there for some bizarre reason, and here it is at the end, your trio and theirs. Its then down to you and one of them to decide the whole server. You are both down a bar, and at the last moment here comes Mosin boy from around the corner with his dolch.
And there you are with a round in the chamber and a spare in the fingers of your off hand. You both hit each other, but he goes down, and then you see it, a completely empty Mosin laying on the ground. And that is its trump card, it does not happen often, but when it does happen, you will get the last shot, the last laugh.
And while there is other weapons that can do the same, in the long ammo bracket, for its balance and endurance, it has my respect.

Hey guys, on my way to find new loadouts i came across the idea of a "Fire Loadout". Here is my actual version of it. Do you have any ideas to improve? I know the handcrossbow is kind of underwhelming but i have a lot of fun with it.
I had to put the ammo box in it because i was running out of ammo a lot with the krag.
Happy hunting!
edit: I want this build still somewhat competitive, so it doesnt need to have only burn items for the sake of burning. E.g. i like the Krag because it still gives me enough power in any range of fighting and as long ammo sets people in fire in many situations.

Ever since the last clear skies "event" (because that's what we call removing shit from the game - an event) the frequency of low visibility conditions plummeted down the drain, which made the current event feel even more stale than the stronghold alone had already made it. At some point I got frustrated enough to begin counting what weather conditions our team encountered, which resulted in the stats below. Naturally, I didn't count the games during the fog of war event, and I started tracking it somewhere at the start of July.
The total number of matches we played was 193.
| Weather | ||
|---|---|---|
| Rain | 11 | 5.7% |
| Night | 23 | 11.9% |
| Fog | 5 | 2.6% |
| Day | 154 | 79.8% |
This is ridiculous. We played a lot, and saw the rain 11 fucking times. The fog might as well not exist at this point, though I guess it appearing only on Desalle contributes to the low spawn rate. If we played like responsible human beings, so probably around half of that, we would've had a good chance of seeing only a single digit of all of the harsher conditions combined.
Add to that the obvious fact that many games are going to end in one gunfight, so we might roll the rain only to get wiped 3 or 5 minutes into a match, only to go back to seeing sunshine ad nauseam. Getting a shot at spending time in your favourite weather condition once in a blue moon is not cool.
I don't know how big is the portion of this community that hates all low visibility conditions, but surely, those of you that do, you can't be so selfish as to think these stats are fine, can you? A lot of people play Hunt, and all of us should have a good chance at seeing the game the way we love it the most - for some it's Hunt at its darkest. I don't even argue for making clear skies and bad weather have equal spawn rates, although I would love that. I'm fine with good weather appearing a bit more often, but not to this extent. It should be 60%, maybe 65% occurrence at most. Not fucking 80%.
I hope the next event won't just mean we'll be seeing only blood moon or sunshine, the other options be damned. Current event already had a massive issue of getting stale quickly.

Say I have Death Cheat, and I get downed. What happens if I immediately quit to main menu before anyone can Siphon my Death Cheat?
Loophole found? Or have they thought about this? If so, how will it work?

It been humid lately, so maybe the contact points of the right joystick are being conducted? Idk. I restart my game, still bugging. I restarted my Xbox, still bugging. Luckily, I wasn’t planning on playing, just checking out my weekly challenges. Not sure how to fix.

LeMat has:
- Underbarrel shotgun
- More total ammo
- Higher bullet velocity
- Higher magsize
- Higher rate of fire
It REALLY did not need the addition of High Velocity ammo.
Meanwhile, the Scottfield is basically a worse Pax/Conversion and there is almost no reason to use it over those. At least give it more reserve ammo, a better firerate, less hipfire/dualies spread, SOMETHING.
I know it's good for fanning, but Pax Trueshot and Conversion are essentially straight upgrades in that regard. Pax Trueshot is also much better at range and the LeMat completely mogs it in almost every other aspect.

That's it. I want an event called oops all immolaters. Or maybe hellhounds.
Imagine every mob replaced with a hellhound, or even a pack of hellhounds.

The last week or so's games have been really empty. Multiple minutes of searching for a game and then it's like max 6 players and with wild ranges in MMR. Are the servers just really low cause it's the end of the battle pass? For reference i sit around the 3-4 star lobbies US WEST

Shot through the wall as a solo when I was just sitting there minding my business (responding to a text) when they rolled up on the compound. Chased across the map (literally) after I revived with no indication of where I was, only to finally be shot through the wall from 120 meters. Opened the profile with over a 4.0 K/D and hundreds of hacking comments. Six star is fun.
