Discussion Such a great character development.
Meruem had such a great character development. Just finished epi 134 where he recalls his more important piece of memories.
Absolutely on point character development. ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
Am so glad that I picked this anime up to watch after such long contemplation, totally worth it.

I just love how he's also portrayed as more of a scholar than a brute in so many scenes. Like there was this still one of the episodes where he was just sitting with a bunch of books, which is very different from your usual tyrant imagery.

Everything about Meruem is majestic, i love how the only time he raises his voice is when he is scolding Komugi lmao

Yeah, it's the only time he breaks character. Netero smacking him around couldn't get him to lose composure. Pouf's scheming couldn't get him to feel betrayed. Welfin's animosity couldn't even get him to do more than questioning. Komugi alone made Meruem frantic, well I guess technically the nuke too.

for me its more of "falling in love thing" not totally character development

Yeah his arc and Gons's "reverse" development is some of the best in any manga
