This actually makes sense to me; for all the flack they get, Juggalos are pretty big on community, and I've heard their founders have matured in their views over the years.
It's even funnier than that. It used to be a real flat earther sub, but the mods got bored or left or something, and then a bunch of us normal people just kind of took it over. Then one of the guys petitioned Reddit to be the new mod since the old ones had been inactive for however long. And today, it's not really a parody sub, per se. (We don't really post parodies of FE arguments.) It's more that it's a fully on FE bashing/debunking sub, but occasionally a true believer wanders in, and that's always a fun time.
Sometimes people will tell the flat earther immediately, but our general MO is to not explain that and just let it all play out lol
What I hate most is that this is a more convincing case for the flat earth nonsense than any incel argument, just because he can articulate his stance on the matter and is capable of explaining why he believes it. Ask an incel or any other redpiller what they believe, they instantly get either evasive or fall back on slogans. This guy may not know dick about physics, but he can at least tell listeners a coherent if ridiculous belief of his.
There are just so many questions you can ask about that stupid idea that the shape of rainbows is from the dome. Such as why rainbows don't even have the actual shape of it. And also, why rainbows literally aren't domes, but full circles. All you have to do is get high enough to see it. For example, taking a pic of a rainbow from a plane
Can confirm. Once saw a rainbow from an airplane towards the end of a flight to Fort Lauderdale. Not only was it a full circle, but as we descended for a landing the airplane's outline became visible at the center of the circle. For a brief time during late in the descent, that shadow was big enough that the part of the passenger cabin I was in even looked like the center of the rainbow circle.
