Found something unexpected at my mom’s house today — a Tinkle from February 2009 🥹📚
While I was at my mom’s home, I randomly came across this old Tinkle magazine — February 2009 issue.
I genuinely didn’t expect finding it to hit me with so much nostalgia. 😭
Just looking at it brought back that whole era of childhood — sitting around reading Tinkle, waiting for the next issue, getting lost in the stories, and somehow thinking those little comics were the most important thing in the world.
It’s crazy how a simple old magazine can suddenly transport you back 15+ years.
Anyone else here grew up reading Tinkle?
Which character/story do you remember the most — Suppandi, Shambu, Tantri the Mantri, or someone else?
And if you still have your old Tinkle collection somewhere… please tell me I’m not the only one who finds it impossible to throw these away. 😂

My favourite scene was the boat race that happened , and I guess from there I was hooked on the characters of this show

Kiteretsu daiyakka, doraemon's anti thesis. The show a lot more diverse plot than the bully revenge cycle of doraemon

Was randomly thinking about how so many of the kids we grew up watching are adults now 😭

Ishaan from Taare Zameen Par, Anjali from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, the silent little Sardar kid from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai… some of these characters are permanently attached to childhood memories.

It’s also crazy seeing their then-vs-now pictures and realizing just how much time has passed 🥲

My all-time favorite Power Rangers team, i remember watching it on Jetix as soon as i used to come home from school at 5. We had black and white TV and got the colour one a few months after it, which we still have. Man i miss that channel, even after moving this show to Hungama as well. My favourite one is Green Ranger/Bridge, we used to assign eachother as rangers, and I was him.😅 Matt Austin(bridge) wrote a reunion story of all the characters on where they are right now in the Power Rangers universe, they haven't made it public yet, but those who went there know. Power morphicon had so many nostalgic characters showing up, but SPD had its main cast all there. Man i miss that time much...
