Genuine Help Needed - India, Delhi
Hi,
I am seeking genuine help, after 10 years together my partner and I are getting married. We have gone through a lot over the years with my health and recently my mom being on dialysis so this moment really feels surreal and is very emotional for us. It is why I am seeking for genuine help instead of being scammed or overpriced. I and my partner reside outside of India but we do have family in India, its just that I would like to work with a wedding planner instead because I don't rely on my relatives taste and this moment means a lot to me so I have a certain vision for the wedding. I am the only eldest daughter so I want the wedding to be beautiful and my big moment but within budget. I would really like to have a wedding planner plan the entire wedding, venue, catering, menu (vegetarian options only but need the menu to be the best as it is India no one should feel like they missed out on food options), entertainment, decor, set up, MUA options and booking, etc. I really need someone with experience and close communication. I want you to help me bring my vision to life :)
Venue Location: I am open to looking at Delhi options but I am also very open to Outskirts of Delhi so that maybe we would have more better options and space and budget. Also, my partner is going to be coming from Punjab Ludhiana so I would also consider venues that might me in the middle of New Delhi and Punjab but they need to be beautiful.
Headcount: We are planning for about 300 to 350 people.

Weddings are out of control these days, and I just want this to be as budget friendly as possible, hence why I’m ordering so early. Now tell me your hacks!!!!

Affordable Candid Wedding Photographer – Delhi/Mathura
Hi everyone! 📸
I’m also looking for a **wedding photographer/team** for **3 functions — 2 in Delhi and 1 in Mathura**.
I’m more of a **quality-over-quantity** person when it comes to wedding photos. I don’t want to spend half my wedding posing for hundreds of pictures 😅 — I’d rather have someone who captures **natural candid moments, emotions, family and friends** while we actually enjoy the wedding.
Budget is around **₹50–60k**. I’m open to smaller/independent teams and don’t need a huge number of edited photos.
Would love genuine recommendations and also tips on **how to find a good candid photographer and reduce/ negotiate the package price**. ❤️

Wedding vendor recommendations in/around Kannur? 💍🌴
Hi everyone! 👋
We’re getting married in Kannur this December 2026 — bride from North India, groom from Kerala — and we’re planning a simple, intimate Kerala wedding with around 200–300 guests.
The idea is to keep the wedding events to one day, while arranging accommodation for the bride’s family for around 2 days. We’d love to incorporate a little North + South Indian flavour while keeping the overall wedding very Kerala! ❤️
Looking for recommendations for photographers, makeup artists, decor, catering, bridal wear, entertainment, etc. in and around Kannur.
Personal experiences/recommendations would be especially appreciated! Hidden gems, Instagram handles, and even vendors to avoid are welcome. 😄
Thanks in advance! 🥹❤️
TL;DR: North Indian bride + Malayali groom, Kannur wedding in Dec 2026, ~200–300 guests. Looking for reliable wedding vendors with personal recommendations! 🙏❤️

How do I hire someone to just handle wedding-day coordination (guest pickups, hotel logistics, favors) while I handle all the bookings myself

Need MUA recommendations for my mom (delhi)
Looking for a MUA who is available in delhi ncr, can work with heavily textured skin and does soft and natural makeup by enhances natural features rather than doing one on all makeup. Needed for party and 25th anniversary. Kindly share your recommendations please. The budget is definitely under 7-8k. Cherry on cake if they have good hairstylist too.
Recommendations on who not to book are also welcome. Plse I want her to feel happy on her day rather than regretting.

Custom wedding invitation websites ❤️
Hey everyone!
I’ve been building custom websites for weddings - mainly digital wedding invitations, with things like the couple’s story, wedding events, venue/location, photos, RSVP details, countdowns, etc.
If you’re getting married soon and want something a little more personal than a standard invitation card, I’d be happy to help you build one. 😊
If you’re interested, just DM me and I can share some examples and details. No pressure!

Looking for preloved lehengas!
I’ve recently opened a bridal boutique and we’re currently adding preloved lehengas to our rental collection.
If you have a lehenga or bridal outfit that you’ve worn once and it’s just sitting in your wardrobe, we’d love to hear from you! We’re looking for outfits that are in good condition and suitable for rentals.
If you’re interested, DM me with pictures of the outfit and a few details. We can take it from there.
Also, feel free to share this with anyone who might be interested. ❤️

Any Anant Karaj brides who were able to wear a lehenga?
EDIT: SAREE NOT LEHENGA
I want to wear a saree during the Anant Karaj ceremony. Just a simple silk saree, nothing too heavy which would make it difficult to get up and sit down. A normal, ‘respectable’ blouse.
Anyone else who also did this? Or it is necessary to wear a suit?

What to bring as a gift to a Roka event?
Hi! My beast friend got engaged and her parents and her are doing a Roka event. For context, she was the maid of honor during my wedding. I’m helping her do her makeup and it is at an event hall. Our cultures are different, so I’m not sure exactly what is customary or expected to bring as a gift or if I were to bring cash, how much. Thank you in advance!

Favourite event / thing you did
What was your favourite thing you did for your wedding / pre-wedding?
A game ? A dance? Having a specific band? A particular ritual?
