Structure, guitar work, i went with a modern garage rock feel with some of it, so some of it was recorded pretty lo fi so thats particually intentional but I just didnt have the perfect gear just yet.

Hey guys, just released my first music library. First attempt at this sort of thing. Here is a track from it, 'Mama Fratelli' (inspiration from movie, The Goonies). I used lots of different layers as to give many different options for sampling the different parts. Was going for a spooky, tense vibe.

I’m working on an album right now, and to me it sounds listenable enough, but I don’t really have anyone to share it with, so I started wondering if it’s actually any good.

I was initially going for something like a modernized take on trip-hop, but I’m curious what it sounds like to you. I’d also love to hear if there’s anything you think I should add, remove, or change.

The vocals are basically just me rambling random stuff. I’m a guy, so I took my original vocal recordings and re-performed them using a vocal synthesis software called Synthesizer V.

I’m also curious what you think about the quality of the vocals themselves.

I posted a while back a snippet of a song where i tried to mix EDM and Hip-Hop together. after some time and the feedback people here gave me i made a full song using my vocals as the melody. It is now released but i would love some further feedback for future projects or even full songs. The song is Called "BLIND" due to the vocals being aloof and distant.

PS: the original post made me change much about the project to the point where this could be a completely different vibe. Any feedback is accepted and thank you again❤️

Plan is to track 2 more songs before end of October and drop a little solo ep. Everything done at home I. Logic Pro.

I originally wanted to make a fast instrumental punk rock song but I had too much fun screwing around...

I wrote this song called “The Night Is Short, Walk On Girl.”
It’s a Japanese indie/garage rock song written from a girl’s point of view, about youth, romance, and that feeling that maybe “right now” is the only moment that really matters.
Even if you don’t understand Japanese, I’m really curious about what kind of emotion or atmosphere you get from it.
I’d especially love feedback on the vocals, songwriting, arrangement, and overall vibe. Honest criticism is totally welcome too. I’m always trying to make the next song better.

What stood out to you most when you listened?

This is a rough mix of a new song I'm working on for my first album under the moniker Kewanee Karlov. This song started out as a simple sampling experimentation. I've been trying to find ways to incorporate my guitar into electronic music, but it just never works for me. This time, I sampled a chord that I liked and then blended it with a few other samples, which made the main line that the song starts with. It doesn't sound like a guitar at all, so either I failed at really doing what I've been trying to do, or succeeded in doing some interesting sample work. From there, the bass line was just something goofy: I was hitting octaves rhythmically trying to find something that worked, but it ended up being really interesting. The woman talking is an interview with a 92 year old woman in 1929, which I found very interesting. The song title came from the drifting sound of the main sample work, and then I just ran with it thematically. I thought the story the woman is telling also fit, as her story drifts through time.

Hi Erdnoid here!! Looking for feedback :). I'm not really into modern country music like that, but there's something about the oldies country that I love. I recently discovered Marty Robbins and I wanted to make a song that embodied that nostalgic old western feeling. The song itself has multiple meanings and I'm curious what your interpretation of it is. Let me know what you think. I would really like some feedback. I would say my sound usually is indie gothic folk. This is probably the most country I’ve leaned.

This is my new song “NEDAYASHI,” which roughly means “eradication” in Japanese.
I recorded every instrument and vocal myself on BandLab. I wanted to combine the raw energy of Japanese punk and garage rock with a catchy indie-rock chorus. The arrangement becomes faster and more chaotic toward the end.
I’d especially appreciate feedback on the vocal mix, guitar balance and overall energy. Does the change in speed work, and which part of the song stands out to you most?

This is "Jezebel" a track hugely inspired bands and music projects that I listen to in regular basis like Skinny Puppy, Cabaret Voltaire, Boy Harsher, Geneva Jacuzzi and KMFDM, Nine inch nails.

From what people described the genres on this song it's from Darkwave to EBM and Electro-industrial. But certainly I am unsure where to put it.

My questions remain like:

• What genres do you think it is and why? Is it accurate?

I’m an artist that is heavily influenced by Joji. I really want to contribute to the Alternative R&B/Indie R&B/Pop genre. I feel like most of my tracks are close but not 100% of the way there. Feedback would be very much appreciated.
