Strange / Weird ?! Weirdest note I’ve seen
Customer never responded to messages and I delivered to front door like normal. Just no clue what this could possibly mean lol

Finally after 600+ orders I got my unicorn 🥲❤️ a quick trip to lowes for 7 items. Customer even came to help with the semi-heavy pressure washer. Super thankful!!

For the last week or two, every single day it’s been so slow for me. After staring at the screen for what seems like forever I go off of it for a moment to look at my email or whatever and BOOM a $78 great order I scramble to get but POOF gone. Nothing for the rest of the day that’s not $18 3 batch plus a million miles. The next day the same exact thing but a $85 then the next day a $98 order. But when you’re back to staring at the screen….nothing. On and on it goes I miss each one and make maybe $40 after working the entire day. I swear instacart is just taunting me at this point
Just had to rant about that. It’s so depressing lately

Is it me or is instacart tacking very heavy low/no tip orders to decent/good tipping orders more and more. It’s been slow so I quickly grabbed a 52 for 3. I know the first customer and they ordered the most stuff he usually tips around 30-35. And I saw the other customers had 1 item for 5 units and another had 4 items for 7 units and I was like no big deal. Come to find out it was 8 40 packs and 2 24 packs between the two other customers. The total tip for 3 orders was $37. So the other two customers ordered all that wanted me to deliver to their building (both of which had no elevator, they said it in the instructions) for basically nothing. I hate that we can no longer drop individual orders. Had to drop it completely. $52 is not enough for me to break a real sweat for this job and risk injury. Crazy.

Hi all, I see some people say they get their batches from home, but from my experience, I have to physically be close to a store for me to get a batch it's kind of a pain in the ass.
I do have stores around me but not close enough. Is the only way for me to get batches to just be at the store?

Orders?

So I sat and watched this order go from $31 for the insane 55.2 miles then it dropped to $26.61 after 10 minutes 🤣🤣am I missing something, isn’t it suppose to go up if no drivers want to take it

Can you guys believe the nerve of these customers? .01 tip. By the way the pay looks okay for distance but there’s 6 cases of water in here. Also it’s embarrassing to be these people. I live in a certain part of the country where even the poor people have to have money to get by but wtf is this .01 tip you could afford a dollar you’re just too lazy to get up and do it yourself.

I LOATHE shopper quality scoring especially when the store genuinely doesn’t have any of the items and the customer won’t answer about replacements or there is not replacement alternative I’ve lost my gold cart because of this I can’t help what the stores don’t REPORTTTTTT AND A COSTUMER REPORTED ONE OF THE THINGS I GAVE THEM AS BROKEN HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CHECK IF A REESES CUP IS BROKEN IF THE PACKAGE IS SEALED AND I CANT FEEL ANYTHING WRONG.?.?.??.

I'm near Columbus Ohio in a typically busy city as far as instacart is concerned. These metrics are laughable at best I haven't seen a single order yet this morning even though the map shows that it is very busy. This is all a facade to position drivers in case orders actually do come but these circles mean absolutely nothing. This app is an absolute joke with the new CEO and every single day they implement some new diabolical feature on the app that makes it 10 times harder for a shoppers. Yesterday I was trying to call through to an agent and they have some new feature now where you have to use keywords and ask the stupid ass AI bot 10 times to speak to a rep before I actually got through to one. It won't be long before this company goes under. 💯

On top of the milk, I see 6 cartons of eggs, 5 boxes of oat milk, 8 boxes of almond milk, and a bunch of produce. I wouldn't take this if it paid $100.

This is so weird. 95% of the orders I take are Wegmans. I’ve never done anything wrong. What is happening?

I’m curious on everyone’s thoughts. Would you have taken this offer for $65? It was so easy to shop as most of what they wanted at Costco was fruit and veg, so all in one section. Shoutout to the helpful guys at my Office Depot. They were slow and eager to help, so they ran to the two different parts of the store to grab the two things I needed without prompting.

So last Wednesday 8/26 I was doing an aldis order. There’s a new store manager and I heard her yelling at an employee in the aisle. I proceed to check out. She comes up to me saying my keys fell and gave em to me. I said thanks and she just stood in the aisle watching me. I had 2 buckets with me & my child (school started the next day) so I’m just doing my job and she calls an employee up to the front of the self checkout line to just stand there. Mind you there’s a security guard right there also watching everybody. So she goes to the cashier and watches my transactions from the screen. I started thinking they must think I’m stealing since I have buckets and some bags in the cart.i did have a lot of meat but I scanned everything. She did a couple of more things that were so weird so I just start checking my cart extra hard making sure I didn’t take nothing. I was about to leave and the security guard comes up to me like why she doing all that to you, you’re not stealing anything you always in here. I said yup you see that smh. So I leave and that night boom my card get deactivated and I get an email saying I’m suspended CAUSE IT WAS REPORTED THAT I TOOK ITEMS WITHOUT PAYING smh so I emailed them back with my statement. I said check the cameras and the security guard, I didn’t take nothing.
This morning I got an email saying I been reactivated & there was no evidence that I stole anything. I lost wages from for 4 days(especially the weekend) all cause of her. It’s sad and sick they can just accuse us & we have to go thru loops to clear our name.
Have this happened to anybody ? I’m happy I got my account back but it sucks to get lied on

Got an nice batch-2 shops with big tip because of an Ipad. Customer B with 2 items wanted to cancel because there was no replacement and somehow the order A with big tip got removed RIGHT after the chat (customer B said she would cancel it). I think the customer agent accidentally cancelled the wrong one. I called the agent and she said it was the customer.
EDIT: to be clear I didn’t contact support to cancel. The customer did.

$13 for 46 items at Costco going over 15 miles away with heavy pay added. Shit is rediculous

It's been 60 days since I sent out my arbitration. What is the next step now? I haven't received any reply back.

Been on hold for about 80% of the time I have on the phone because the payment won’t go through.

It was 22 items (63 units), and it was to a hotel, is this considered good? It’s the best I’ve ever seen in Palmer/Wasilla AK. Accepted it before I knew what I was getting or where I was going lol

I’m so fucking sick of these. They basically just tell me I’m getting throttled for the next week.

Due to the fact that you miss garbage orders that are assigned at a random point in New York, you get offline until the next day. This is only 4 PM 😁
