Please help me decide couch size

Hello :)

I am considering an Ikea Jattebo Couch for my living room, however, i am completely undecided between the normal and side-extended version.

The side extended version would be more comfy, but would maybe obstruct the passage to the balcony.

What do you guys think?

Since you have the other throughway behind the couch, I think the smaller passageway should be fine. I would recommend going to ikea and actually testing the couch though, some of their couches are very comfortable, but some are really not. So better to know before you buy if you haven't already :)
