Where do y'all think the stage is going to be? The larger overview on SeatGeek shows it being an end stage? But when you click to buy the seat, it shows it being a "arena" or "theatre-in-the-round" stage? #confused

This year has been my hardest year, i’ve endured loss and grief, and diagnosis of life changing illness to the point that the last few months everyday has been a struggle to want to carry on.

When I was in 6th grade my dad bought me Rhythm Nation as a Christmas gift. Since then I have always admired Janet and appreciated her (now 35m). For some reason, I never listened to Damita Jo as much. Not sure why. Nonetheless, this summer I have been exploring albums I never thought of and Damita Jo is one of them.

I recently updated the sound system and base in my car. Today I shuffled my "liked songs" on Spotify and "All Nite" came on. I was out shopping and going from mall to mall. Each time I got on the car I made sure to blast All Nite and it sounds absolutely amazing.

Then I got home and put it on my home speakers and just WOW.

From 6th grade to now, I am mad I never enjoyed this song then, but more than thrilled to jam to it now.

A special shout out to the people of Gary, Indiana, Janet’s hometown, who are experiencing a power outage that has been going on for over a week now with no real media coverage.

I remember when Janet returned to Gary during her documentary to see the humble way in which her family lived, and the roots of the poverty they came from.

The situation in Gary is reminding me of the situation in New Orleans with Hurricane Katrina, except this time, instead of water, it is electricity.

i reconnected w the album a lot this year, it got me through my foundation year project lol and i wanted to do the signature black as a costume outfit. thing is im in the uk and it’s not as easy to source things as it would’ve been if i were in america so i wanted to ask the sub if u guys had any tips. i want it to be as identical as possible

Twenty Foreplay is a song that I have learned to appreciate as I’ve grown older. When I was younger, I was heavy on Janet’s upbeat songs but this one right here ahead of its time and very much GROWN & SEXY. While I prefer the album version, I do not mind this mix of the song; the music video helped me fall in love with this version even more.

I do believe Janet used this video as an audition tape to Hollywood for the role of Dorothy Dandridge. The similarities between the two iconic women are simply uncanny. I really wish Janet would’ve gotten the role because she was just acting as Dorothy, she embodied her! Nevertheless, this version of the song reached no.32 on the Billboard Hot R&B chart. She deserves more flowers for this record. 💐💐💐
