It came thirteen days after Claire McNear’s reporting in The Ringer that set the ball in motion, a chain of events that included Richards resigning as Jeopardy! host.

In tonight's rerun of JIT, Mehal bet only $5 on a DD he wasn't confident about. It made me wonder if there are rules around the DD wagers. I would guess you can't wager nothing, and the minimum would be $1. I also expect that round dollar amounts in full hundreds are strongly encouraged, though I remember a couple occasions when a silly number like $1,236 was bet. Can anyone confirm these?

The question was Russian for no (4 letters), the answer was Net which is 3. Did i mishear and misread that or what am i missing?

Is there a compiled list of events featuring live auditions? Sporclecon has in the past (inconclusive this year) and apparently I just missed my shot at Trivia Nationals (boo!) but it would be really nice to know where I could be choosing to vacation while removing some of the dreaded randomness of the Anytime Test pool. Does anyone have clips of Sociological questions/answers on Jeopardy? I have searched but am not finding what I am looking for. I would especially like anything about Mills, Weber, Marx, structural functionalism, conflict theory, and moral panic.

I was supposed to have my zoom audition for Jeopardy (mock gameplay and interview) on Thursday August 20th. Unfortunately, Jeopardy had to postpone due to technical difficulties on their end. I wanted to see if anyone else had their audition postponed for similar reasons and how long it took to be rescheduled. I’ve tried emailing the Jeopardy contestant search email but have not gotten a reply.

I was notified I passed the Anytime Test in mid-May 2025 and took the Zoom test (coordinated test but with surveillance and an 8-second time limit per clue) about a week later. I'm doubtful I passed whatever the threshold was. I was under the presumption that if I failed the Zoom test, I could retake it the following year, but I haven't heard anything about it since. The email for the invite said, "If you have taken a test via Zoom within the past 12 months you SHOULD NOT sign up for this audition. If you have been to an audition where you played a mock version of Jeopardy! within the past 2 years you SHOULD NOT sign up for this audition."

I had retaken the Anytime Test twice this year (on JeoparDay and the usual one year after taking the test the prior year), thinking taking the test again triggered another audition invite, but I didn't get that.

I added the Jeopardy audition email as a contact, and I often check my spam folder, but I didn't see anything of note.

Is there a different time frame involved with audition status than what I expected? Is there a chance they changed scheduling?

Who went to see a taping of Jeopardy! season 43? Were there any changes or is it all just still the exact same?

He's in 7th grade. His small school doesn't issue ID cards, and we didn't grab his birth certificate from the safe box. Am I going to have difficulty getting him in?

As a viewer primarily familiar with the Jeopardy canon and wants to improve at Jeopardy Masters, studying questions from which competition or league would provide the best 'ROI'? Put a different way, the top scorers of which competition would provide the most accurate proxy for how well they'll do if given a shot at Masters?

Hi everyone - I tried to create an account on Jeopardy.com to take the eligibility test, but I kept getting an error. Is it just me? Or have other people gotten this too?

I hadn't watched Jeopardy in many years and recently started again. I find myself getting so aggravated when they pick $1,000 Clues before the cheaper Clues. I understand why they're doing it, but it makes me sad. Will I ever get used to this?

Who was your favorite player? Mine was Buzzy Cohen. The fact his dad made all his suit for the game show is amazing. And of course he was easy on the eyes.

Every episode and snippet I watched just made me miss and appreciate the late Alex even more. There is something with his way of hosting that show that made it less intimidating and more fun.

I would come across episodes of the succeeding hosts and honestly, no one comes close but Ken Jennings is really the best one to do it. A different way of hosting but there’s a certain appreciation and also fun in his own way. You can see he really loves the game and he honestly doesn’t make it boring.

Tonight 11 locations see Jeopardy! Masters get bumped by four different NFL preseason games. Tomorrow, that number jumps up to 47 with eight football contests in the way.

Of course, the show streams next day on Hulu.

Three questions left, all worth 400. All daily doubles gone. Yogesh has a runaway with 19000. Victoria has 1600, Paolo has 2400.

If Victoria is allowed to get 2 or 3 right, she has a chance to beat Paolo and walk away with the Victory Point. There is zero chance Yogesh doesn't realize this. He keeps ringing in and steals 2 of them. Literally the only reason to do that is that he would prefer Paolo to have the VP over Victoria.
