Fan Art Keychain

I mostly made this for myself since I've seen people make keychains and pins so I hope this is ok. I am pretty proud of how it turned out even though the sizing could be better. Outfits are loosely based on Australia (season 10).

I think I found Ben's opening shot in Izu-Kogen from Japan H&S.

I had zero intention of finding his spot. I just wanted to see a cool water fall and then cool rocks. Sadly the water falls had no water. FYI Izu-Kogen rocks and a really cool place to see nature. I also went to the old volcano that had archery in the middle of it.

Fan Art Some fanart because I've become obsessed with this show over the summer!

Just started watching over the past few months, and this was mostly inspired by wanting to draw Adam's coin-flipping anguish! But I also had to get in some Drunk Ben and Sam getting an idea for a plan (that will backfire or go awry or otherwise never come to fruition).

No reasonable explanation for the magical jetlag themed portal they're walking through though...

Discussion In Tag (or other relevant games) can a person end the day airside?

I was rewatching Tag Eur It (All Stars) and at the end of episode two Ben & Brian have the plane to take an early flight to Switzerland. Is it possible for them to go through security before the end of the game day and restart their gameday airside? What are the rules around this? Having listened to the layover and how the dissect all possibilities it seems they would've considered this so does anyone know if they've ever publicly discussed it?

Long time viewer and I finally decided to get a nebula subscription

And I started listening to the podcasts. I never realised how much Sam says “y’all”.

I wonder if Wendover Sam or HAI Sam are also cowboys.

Going to rewatch previous seasons and listen to the podcasts. See y’all later.

Home Game Hide & Seek in Wrocław or Poland in general

Hey guys,

I live in Wrocław and I'm looking for some people willing to play Hide & Seek. Mainly in Wrocław, but maybe in other polish cities.

Tbh if you live in Poland and looking for people to play, then comment or send me a dm and I hope we'll come up with something. I have time and I'm willing to create some discord or group chat, if there will group to play.

I have my copy of the game and I played it of in Wrocław once, so I kinda know how to manage this. I played in whole tram + bus system and it worked quite well. Of course certain rules would be decided later, but I'm sure its possible to have some fun here (or in other cities).

Meme Jet Lag: The Game Dream AU

Post image

I had a dream recently where in the stateside scramble finale instead of drawing the people mover wildcard on day 5 Adam and Ben drew the Russia Wild Card and flew to Moscow to claim it. In the AU Sam and Amy actually claimed all 3 new England states but still lost because Ben and Adam claimed the one nation larger than Canada to get a larger total area. Obviously that makes no sense because Russia isn’t connected to any state they claimed but it’s dream logic so yeah…

I’d like to believe this is metaphor for how Sam feels when he plays against Ben and Adam

Discussion What Ideas do YOU have for future seasons?

Basically the title!

Where do you want to see the boys go, and what would you want a season there to look like? These can be any sized games: from city wide to multiple countries.

Just wanna hear ideas from this subreddit, and see if something similar comes to fruition in the future!

Do Any of the nebula / jetlag editors linger here? I have a super specific workflow question.

You guys would have 40+ hours of footage each season to ingest, and markup. I’m currently in a similar boat, editing a non-jet lag related adventure game show I shot last year, with around 30 hours of footage.

Is there anyone here who works on Jet lag’s edit? Or if Ben is around?

The Q’s are: I’m a solo creator, it’ll take me two weeks min to ingest, log, markup the footage. Have you guys found a workflow that allows gets you through it quicker?

Is there a better workflow for multicam-ing? It’s all quite tedious when iPhones don’t have a time code.

How much are you doing in pre-pro to make this easier?

How much are you relying on the boys during production to produce themselves effectively, and to make your jobs easier? (I ask this one specifically as I did not produce myself effectively, so I’m worried I don’t have an edit)

International Airports in Japan

Just watching the third episode of Hide and Seek Japan, the one where Sam is in Narita airport, and the guys immediately ask "is your nearest international airport the same as ours?" The answer is yes, but that only splits the map in half. This confused me, what criteria are they following for "international" airport, because there are dozens in Japan, and I can't see what rationale there would be for that question to split the map in that way.

Discussion I found two Arctic escape tickets that were never pulled! Spoiler

Post image
86 Upvotes

In episode 4, when they roll the steal, you can see two unused tickets in the flop. The first one appears to be a 600 or 800 mile train for raving in a cave, where you get glowsticks and dance to music in a cave for 5 minutes.

The other one is a 600 mile flight to/from a regional airport for eating a regional food.

Does anyone else know some unused flop tickets that were never pulled?

Miscellaneous Most popular season ever???

With Episode 1 of Japanoroma now having amassed over a million views on YouTube and having more views than S18 E1 and almost as many as S17 E1, it’s clear that this season is already proving incredibly popular. Obviously, it’s early days but the game design seems well thought through with already many memorable moments in episode 1 alone. Ben did say that this was their best season yet but it will difficult to rival the popularity of season 3. Do we think it can surpass it?
(Obviously there’s no way of properly predicting but I thought it was interesting to speculate)

Home Game End game saftey

Hey Jetlag Hiders and Seekers,

Me and a couple friends are currently planning to plan hide and seek (the home game) for the first time and due to the area we live in and the fact we are 4 young women, we're trying to take all the precautions we can to make sure we do it safely. E.g. Pre-selecting stations we know aren't too dangerous, going in pairs, etc. However, we aren't too sure how to do the endgame safely and was wondering if anyone had any advice.

The idea of sitting in a not main street for something like 45 minutes doesn't feel incredibly safe. So any adjustments or changes anyone's made when playing the game that they can suggest would be much appreciated. Thanks!!!
