I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong here. Is the smash attack at the end coming out too slow? i can do the drag down up smash through the platform but the timing here seems tighter unless im doing something wrong. Appreciate any tips

Hello all, I am playing joker for a bit now, but have a problem. Gun is a really good Neutral b over all but I use it too little. So habe you any tips on how to use gun more?

Im new to joker so excuse this late in the meta question.

Im trying double jumping then down gun as fast as possible but I dont seem to get an arialright before landing. Am I missing something ? Is there maybe a way to accelerate gun shooting so I can have extra frames for the arial ?

I'm not a Joker main myself but I find myself struggling to find the cue of when Rebel's Guard isn't active anymore.

Example: Charging a Smash Attack & Joker approaches with Rebel's Guard but I hold the Smash attack until it isn't active anymore.

I find myself using the same timing as other counters but I know you can also hold Rebel's Guard as well. The cue isn't really noticeable to me to tell.

im practicing fair one/down throw into drag down up air with Arsene, but it doesnt work when i use the rising aerial… but it works fine when im base joker. am i messing up or can Arsene joker not perform rising up air dragdowns from those setups?

Like Dthrow into nair, or fair 1 into nair.

Side note: Also need help with Dair. After training I can connect dair into bair but not consistently.

Is it the timing, are these suppose to auto cancel? Am I not pressing nair soon enough right after I jump diagonally? It's a tight window for me to jump with momentum, release left stick to neutral to nair, then pushing for air speed again. Is this where I need to train or what?

so, i was voding a few of my local tourney matches and kind of noticed that im not really making the most of Arsene. For context, I’m a low level comp player who plays very defensively and passively. I rarely approach, opting to poke and condition with gun and occasionally Eiha. My neutral consists of poking, foxtrotting, empty aerials and hops, etc. whenever i do try to do attacks, it’s normally safer options like falling bair(any aerials, really) and jab before immediately dashing back. the most committal move i use is grab, and i barely make aggressive callouts. I simply try to learn the opponent’s habits and stay at a distance until they get impatient and approach/make a mistake.

with that being said, whenever i get Arsene, i typically go with the same gameplan: stay back, poke with gun and Eigaon, capitalize on mistakes and snowball the game. Normally, i do around 60-70 off of gun chip and Eigaon, with damage going to around 90-a full stock if the opponent approaches or i get an aggressive play correct. Which brings me to my point:

should i be changing my gameplay with Arsene, playing more forward and aggressive? I dont think i should, but whenever i watch MKLeo or old Zachary matches, they always get so much more out of Arsene than i’m doing right now. Abruptly changing play styles when arsene activates is predictable and punishable imo, which is part of the reason why i’m so reluctant to do so, but if i can consistently take stocks by playing aggresive when Arsene comes out, wouldn’t it be worth it?

I’ve seen Leo do d throw to reverse up airs, can someone explain to me how he’s doing it or what are the conditions for doing it? Ik it’s similar to dthrow to back air but instead I just do up air, however I sometimes miss it. Any help?
