Hi Gizz fam! We just released a big pack of King Gizzard charts for Clone Hero, the free Guitar Hero clone for PC.

I'm Phil. I may have met some of you at shows and meetups over the past two years. I often have my green poncho and shoulder bag. This is my first-ever Reddit post. I'm breaking my ten-year Reddit lurker streak to share this with you all!

Over the past few years, I commissioned charter u/GuitarZero132 to chart a few albums and a selection of live songs, always with the plan to release them publicly. It took a lot of work to finalize everything and get it ready. Huge thanks to GuitarZero132 for seeing it through. I contributed some of the FOV loading messages, FOV lyrics, and Phantom Island lyrics.

What's in the pack

Every song has all difficulty levels charted for lead guitar. No bass or drums. They're fun, mid-level charts, not boring or wrist-destroying. The live ones do go harder. Don't slip on the drip.

Installing

I'm immensely grateful for this band and this community. Traveling with my partner (thank you for pushing me to do so) to see them over the past two years, and making so many friends along the way, has been a genuine highlight of my life. FOV and NYC 2026 were incredible. This is how I can give back. We will have more to come in the future!

No one in my life understands how excited I am, so I wanted to share. I managed a copy of the Caverns box set, and was surprised when it arrived still sealed.

Real rare treasure. It's hard to find anyone willing to sell one, let alone to fine an unused set! Only 250 ever printed.

I'm really happy... and yes... Going to play and enjoy all 12 records.

This particular set is eating in my brain and I basically have to listen to it everyday to keep the demons at bay. What an absolute banger.

Given that the boys have said in interviews that never have they had to discard as much material for an album as they have for Alien Metal, why do we think they didn’t do any extended versions of songs as they did with The Silver Cord? 😭👽

As a guitarist whose synth knowledge begins at “turn knob, space noise happens” and ends shortly thereafter, I’d love a similar explanation of Stu’s current suitcase setup.

Seems like an insane amount of stuff crammed into one lil suitcase.

What exactly is he using in there? How does he get such a huge range of sounds? I’m especially curious about what is generating the sounds and what is controlling or sequencing them.

After a few listens of the new album, I found myself thinking back about this track and music video. If it reminds you of early Justice, it's because they co-produced.

I was obsessed when it was released and even tracked down the CD single from France. There was no sound system loud enough to satisfy my listening experience; I wanted to plug it in directly to my brain.

It's not the same genre of techno, but I thought it might be the right amount of weird for the Weirdo Swarm.

I’ve been here since 2016 when I saw them play at the Sinclair in Cambridge, MA play to 300ish people on the nonagon tour, I know some have been here since before me…but ultimately we’re all seeing the band now and having fun regardless of when we first saw them.

FOR FUN: when do we think is the rough window of time will be when we finally get to say “we told ya so!” to the rest of the people still unsure??

It's so fucking good. With the context of Alien Metal's release, it makes it even greater.

And at the risk of sounding like a dolt, I never put the "Made in Timeland" and "Laminated Denim" anagram together.

Always more to appreciate and love with this band.

Emily River Bootlegs Presents:

Alien Metal (Live, Seamless, Looping.) I was desperate to have that lIve Alien Metal fix so despite the fact that the lossless boots have not dropped for NYC or FOV, I decided to put together a lossy preview so myself and all of you that I know are itching for it can have SOMETHING. I pulled the tracks through some editing in an audio software and every track INCLUDING the last track into the first, transition seamlessly.

this bootleg is only being shared via Untitled at the moment because I do not want to put lossy files on my bandcamp, however as SOON as those boots drop officially I am remaking this bootleg immediately. so expect a proper bandcamp release of this in (hopefully) the near future.

Great way for me as Alien Metal curious to really appreciate the new album. The live versions take the songs to a different place. Love, love, love the drums.
