I’m only really looking for more groups to stan, probably my favourite thing to do with my love for kpop is to discover new groups, ESPECIALLY unpopular ones, i love to go and give them support and stream their music, just because a group is popular doesn’t mean their music is good, and i feel a lot of niche groups have way better music than some of the mainstream groups.

My personal choice is AM8IC. I see them as my 2nd ult when it comes to boy groups. I really like their music and concept and the fact that they only debuted less than a year ago, i think that will make things easier for new stans as they have a small number of songs and content compared to other groups.

So basically, I've been listening to a few songs after my fyp decided I now liked k-pop. (Illit, Le sserafim and i-dle). Honestly I may know 10 songs combined, thats how new I am to this stuff.

And then I saw about the concept of a bias. But how does that work? Ive watched some YouTube clips and now I've just picked based off of vibe? Is that how that works lol?

Been a slow couple of weeks. Life has been a personal tornado during that time, nothing major (just work-related shenanigans.) Things are slowing down now, so...time for the FUN grind!

I run a fledgling sub called r/KPopDeepDives. The main purpose behind it, is to supply easy to follow discography write-ups for new/existing fans looking to get into a K-Pop group/Artist. Each artist thread, EVENTUALLY, will link to every song, MV, Dance Practice and at LEAST one live performance if it exists. It's a LOT of work, but not when it's something you're interested in.

I'm always looking for more kindred spirits to join our sub. HOWEVER, I'm really looking for people looking to contibute. We welcome pretty much all conversation topics, AS LONG AS IT'S ABOUT THE MUSIC. But, I'm looking for people interested in helping with the ACTUAL content. The write-ups are our bread and butter. We highlight them and have a permanent index whenever a group/artist has a thread made for them. The issue is, especially experiencing it with my first attempt, is the passion. I initially had a lot of contributors on my first attempt, but they never stuck around. Updating was my biggest issue. People were taking all the popping off groups, but wouldn't update when they released something new. I'm looking for HARDCORE fans. The sub is DEFINITELY for newbies, but I need fans to make it as legit as possible.

I try to be as through as I can, but I might not be as invested into a group. Which means, I might miss some content. If you ARE a fan of a group, please let me know. I'd rather let an experienced fan make a write-up then somebody just experiencing them for the first time. I want to make my Reddit a go to when it comes to learning about a group, but I can't do it alone. I have MY groups and I can cover them like a blanket, but there are other groups that deserve the same love I won't give.

I’m kinda on a hiatus from stanning BTS and SVT right now since I’ve already watched most of their content (especially their variety shows, which I love). I’ve also checked out some of SKZ, and back during Kingdom I noticed ATEEZ but was rooting for SKZ at that time.

I do know Ateez and was blown away by their Kingdom performance, but lately I’ve been wanting to get to know them better. So I’ve started watching their variety shows. What really drags me into stanning boy groups is when all the members stick together and there’s no history of members leaving (SKZ being the exception, but I’m still hands down OT8).

Any recos for Ateez content I should watch to really understand them more?
