How are the crowds at WinCo now?

Just curious if anyone has noticed a changed in the crowd at the Kent WinCo now that the Renton location has opened. Haven’t been for a while now because we had a tough time dealing with the long checkout lines the few times we went. Thinking of giving it another try if the new store has taken some pressure off of the Kent location lol.

Roaches in Kent apartment

Never dealt with roaches in an apartment before but would like to know if anyone else in signature pointe apartments are dealing with this as well.

It recently started happening when a neighbor moved out and two neighbors moved in. We noticed 1-2 and then called immediately for help from the management.

So far they sprayed 4 times and we are still seeing them. We haven’t been able to live freely knowing they craw everywhere. It’s extremely disgusting.

Anyone actually using Ezee?

I’ve seen lots of posts over the last year or two of Ezee coming, actively installing, how is it, etc.

Just curious if anyone has had a chance to activate it and use it…if yes how is it?

Hair salon recs

hello! i am looking for a reputable hair stylist in/around kent. i also don’t mind at all going to surrounding areas: tukwila, puyallup, renton, auburn, tacoma, etc.

i’ve been dying my hair black for 2 years and would like to go back to my natural auburn color. only problem is that i need to find someone quickly this week because im having surgery thursday & would like to have my hair done before then!

i’ve never had my hair professionally dyed but have had some really horrible experiences with haircuts so im extremely hesitant to just pick a studio off google and try my luck, as ive been growing my hair out for the last 5 years or so and finally love the length and health of my hair!

any recommendations or suggestions are appreciated 🫶🏻

SE 218th near 132nd. They are kind to adults, skittish, they seemed possibly aggressive towards small kids. We couldn’t take them in because we have a dog + the kids. Animal control and non-emergency are both closed. Not sure what to do.

Auto Body & Repair Shops?

My car was stolen in early August. I have it back but am going to need some repair work done. Mostly replacing the steering column. However I want to make sure the shop gives it a mechanical review to make sure there is nothing else going on.

Anyone have a recommendation for a place to take it?

Moving to Kent this November. Any safe and budget-friendly apartment recommendations near SE 228th St?

Hi everyone!

I'll be moving to Kent this November for work and will be working near 228th St. It'll be my first time living in the US, so I'm still trying to figure things out. 😅

I'll be sharing an apartment with another person, and we're looking for something affordable, safe, and hopefully not too far from work. Preferrably a studio or a 1-bedroom, depending on the price.

It would be nice if the apartment has a gym, and being close to grocery stores or public transportation would be a huge plus.

Any apartment recommendations or areas we should check out (or avoid)?

Thanks in advance! 😊

EDIT: its just 228 st, not in SE

Incident on 132nd?

Near the Zion Lutheran Church, just south of the Wilson Play Fields?

Anyone have any idea what's going on? We were there and had to turn around. Seems like they're shutting down the road for traffic at this time.

*EDIT - Just southbound from Wilson Playfield is blocked. We were able to come back up northbound and drive by. It looks like a two or three car accident right in front of the church. Ambulance was driving off with the lights on, and a bunch of people sitting on the side of the road. Just hope everyone is okay. The car is involved all looked to be totals. *

Car is described as beige or gray with busted out right windows. They’re requesting if anyone’s missing a car like that or their kid to call 911.

Sorry for audio.

Tried to post and it failed. Reddit being Reddit it may double post 🙄

GOP Pedophile town hall at Kent YMCA

Just wanted to post that right now at the Kent YMCA at Kent East hill has a GOP pedophile town hall celebrating Charlie kirk and his racist bigoted self as well as spreading their lies and bullshit and celebrating and protecting a pedophile president who has waged a war no one wanted, asked for, or one that was needed.

As well as tariffs that have raised the cost of living for us all, and made the deficit to 40 Trillion dollars, the most it's ever been.

I could.sit here all day and list his crimes he's been convicted of, and the ones he hasn't but should be but I don't have a month of free time.

If you're in the area, drive by and yell out your window what you think of this horrible human being and let me these GOP Pedophile protectors that they aren't welcome here.

Worst human beings alive imho.

Kent, we are better than this.

Trick or Treating as an adult

I’m 21 and I really want to go trick-or-treating this Halloween 😭I didn’t grow up in the US, so it was never something I got to experience as a kid, and I’ve always wanted to do it at least once

I know trick-or-treating is mostly for kids, so I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable or take away from them. Are there any neighborhoods/areas where people wouldn’t mind adults trick-or-treating too? Or any Halloween events that have actual trick-or-treating for adults?

Also, if any other adults have gone trick-or-treating, did people care? I’m fully willing to put effort into the costume lol.

Mitch at Greener Cleaner was great in Dispatch and delivered on our emergency need as promised! The tech Robert turned out to be the owner and got our AC back up in under 60 Minutes! Hot August nights are no fun with no AC in Seattle.
