Need Advice Cataracts Surgery.
I am scheduled for cataracts surgery on September 3rd. They are telling me I should be able to see out of my right eye good enough to do computer work after surgery without a contact lens.
I am just wondering if anyone else who had this surgery who has had kerataconus can tell me how their eyesight was after surgery.

Need Advice After the crosslinking… I have some questions!
My doctor told me I can use contact lenses, or there are also what are known as corneal rings. I wanted to ask if any of you have tried either of them, what your experience was, and what you would recommend.
I have another question: after the crosslinking, should I go straight into contact lenses, rings, etc., or should I wait? I read somewhere that the surgery takes effect in six months.
I'm asking here to get a clearer understanding and compare it with what my doctor tells me. Thank you so much!

Need Advice Question about glasses.
I (22F) got diagnosed 11 years ago, had C3R at 12 in one eye, and I now wear glasses because I was told the scleral lenses won't work for me.
I ended up going without glasses for a whole year minimum, because the frame I got last year gave me headaches in the occipital area, and then I just forgot about it, and now I got new ones, and I noticed something. I realised that when I do a quick on-off thing with them, the colours of things around me look better? More defined, better contrast. Is that a keratoconus thing, or is it just a glasses thing?

Contact Lens Fogginess on the lense!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’ve been experiencing fogginess on my lenses when i wear them, specifically one. This exact fog has occured on earlier lenses i’ve had. A while back when i removed my left lense, i could actually see the blur on the actual lense and capture it on video! Has anybody else had similiar fogs to this?
The foggy line that crosses the lense is not a reflextion, its actual fog that blurs my vision. It dissapears when i blink a few times, and then comes right back after 20-30 second.

Contact Lens Questions about HOA with scleral lens
I have been wearing scleral lenses for almost a year now, and they improve my vision a lot. But I have trouble reading on screens with them. I see double vision with letters on screen. It's almost better without the lenses for me to read. It is a big issue for me since I am a student and spend a lot of time on screens. The doctor says it's because of HOA? Anyone fix HOA with those specialized scleral lenses? How long did it take to fit? How was the experience with them? Any difference in use and care compared to the regular scleral lens?

Crosslinking I feel completely fine after my CXL surgery 2 days ago, is this normal progression?
I had my CXL surgery 2 days ago and besides some mild discomfort a few hours after the surgery I feel completely fine. No sensitivity to light, no irritation nothing. I even had to call and confirm I had Epi-off cos it felt too quick.
Should I still be avoiding screens and resting even if I feel completely fine?

Contact Lens Help needed about scleral lens in India.
I was diagnosed with KC 3 months ago and a retest is scheduled next month. It has worsened ever since and I can feel it worsening. Most probably I'll get CXL and sclerals at least for one eye. I'm going to Narayana netralaya. What is the price of sclerals there? 50000 60000 are out of my budget. Also , are there any discounts

Crosslinking Waiting 2 months for cross linking
I got diagnosed with keratoconus a few days back. Left eye has progress a bit, 507 microns. Thankfully right eye isn’t as bad, 544 microns. I went to two doctors ( both pretty renowned ), and both of them suggested cross linking with tcat for the left eye and cross linking for the right eye to stop the progression. Since having a procedure is nailed on, I have to decide the when. I have my exams coming up in 2 months and I can’t afford to sit idle for 10 days( post op). So if I wait for another 2 months, would it make things worse or can I afford to wait ?

Need Advice Glasses for keratoconus
I’ve been talking to the Keratoconuscentrum Nederland over email and am thinking about making the journey in the next couple of months.
I’ve seen a few posts on here from a few years ago talking about their glasses and I’m wondering if anyone has any recent experience with them and their glasses specifically and what this ‘unique world first in 2026’ is.
Thanks in advance!

Just Diagnosed How bad is it???
I've been diagnosed with keratoconus recently and I don't know how bad is it and I'm really scared about it. I'm 18 soon be turning 19. Doctor said to revisit after 6 months for another pentacam scan.
Is keratoconus really worse? How bad can it be? Is there anyway I can stop progress?
My eyes are itching much and I'm really trying the urge to rub my eyes and it's so hard.

General What was your reaction to being told "Don't rub your eyes"?
It’s the golden rule of KC, but for those with allergies, it’s a torturous command. Was it an easy habit to break, or do you still find yourself "knuckle-rubbing" in your sleep?

Crosslinking Is CXL Worth it?
So for some context, I have been diagnosed with Keratoconus pretty recently (6 months) and I have been fitted Hybrid Lenses. Before this my glasses had a 1.5/1.5 prescription. I never tried scaleral as my doctor said they’d be a little more uncomfortable. I see around 20/30 with the lenses in. And 20/10 in my left eye. The issue is my keratoconus is very minor in the left and moderate to bad in the right. My right eye is has almost zero correction with glasses. Currently I can do almost everything with both glasses and lenses. I generally try to wear lenses even though I find them more uncomfortable (I haven’t worn them much) but for some reason while the number is better, life just feels like it went from 1080p to 360p (if that even makes sense).
My question comes down to if CXL is worth it and if I should do epi on / off. I can see fine today but I don’t want to wait and have the condition get worse. At the same time, I’ve seen the risks and the fact that it sometimes takes months to recover which I desperately want to avoid.
What ideas do you guys have?

Crosslinking Treatment options?
Has anyone had Conductive Keratoplasty (CK) + CXL done? I was looking for CXL related information, came across this new treatment which is available near me. Not sure if I am eligible for it.
