Discussion Is this possible to Build?

Im thinking of making a Saturnine dreadnought with a custom loadout and I was thinking of using a shock lance from the Knight destrier and using 2 disintegrator cannons on one arm. This question is not asking if this loadout is legal just wondering if the kit could fit 2 disintegrator cannons on one arm.

Well with how the joints work it would’ve be very difficult and require a lot of cutting and sculpting probably.

The lance part would be pretty easy mostly just the double gun would be tricky

It is possible, but may look unbalanced beyond the asymmetry. The lance is a fairly straightforward swap and fit, the double disintegrator I think could be compacted enough so the two weapons are seemless, but I think it will still look very bulky and one sided. Worth a try though, I think if you can get the width of the quad disintegrator right youll hit that sweet spot, but it will require careful cutting and fitting, and definitely some gap filling. best of luck!

You could fit 2 disintegrators on a single arm, but it would be a bit of work to get everything to fit together since the connection hardpoints are build into the top of the gun and changing it to sit between the two of them might look a bit odd if you don't resculpt that whole area. In particular, if you want to change a gun into a side-by-side version, you'll need a lot more clearance towards the body than the current model allows, so you'd probably need to slide it out a ways which could interfere with the shoulder fit.
If you're wanting to think about kitbashes I recommend going to /r/WarhammerInstructions and searching for the mini, as you'll be able to see which bits are moulded on and which bits are optional.
From looking at the pictures in the manual I'd say it's probably doable without too much hassle if you're ok with it looking a bit odd, and a lot of hassle if you want it to look natural.

But if it's just for proxy purposes then I'd put a single disintegrator and tell people the spear is also a disintegrator.

Always sketch out your kitbash idea. You can get pictures of the models and cut the pictures up to see if it will look good and fit. Do this way before you buy anything and save yourself a headache if it doesn’t work.
