Team member post swapping shifts

is it okay to ask to swap shifts for a different day, for example, if you have a shift on sunday but stuff comes up, are you able to ask to be put on on Saturday instead if they can?

Customer post Kmart unable to locate transaction?

Has anyone experienced a store being unable to find a copy of their receipt?

We purchased an appliance that has developed a fault and need to return it. Unfortunately I cannot locate a copy of the receipt, but I do have the transaction details in my bank statement. Even with these details, the store was unable to find the transaction (bless the lady at customer service for trying despite being busy!).

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Customer post Refund to same card policy

Can anyone confirm if this is actually a thing or are all employee just told it’s not possible to refund onto any card? Most ridiculous thing ever being told I need to have a card I originally used when I no longer have that card and need to return a faulty item for a refund.

Customer post Kmart catalogue vs website price discrepancy

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Edit: the swap over from a 'Kmart' tag to 'Target' tag is happening automatically when loading the page, per the screen recording. I am not doing anything. It is a website glitch. Just in case it's happening for anyone else on any other products.

PSA that there's a bit of fuckery: this item is advertised as $10 (on their digital catalogue), but the actual price is $12. Not sure how many other products have a similar issue. It looks to be something to do with a target product on the Kmart site and the two aren't talking properly (?). So just be aware.

Customer service told me to buy the product and then they issued a refund of the $2 difference. To get to that point was infuriating, but I got there. Clicked a $10 product link, which refreshed as a $12 product page, went into my cart as a $12 product and was charged as a $12 product.

It's only $2 I know, but it's the principle of the thing, when parent companies are posting insane profits around $1b. I look forward to buying myself a third of a small coffee with that $2.

Customer post Are the anko charging cables bad or am I doing something wrong?

I've tried two charging cables since they were similar prices to other brands, but slightly cheaper. One of them broke after a few months (bought it start of this year and it stopped charging properly recently) and the newest one I got seems to say that it's fast charging but doesn't charge my phone at all.

Relax tinfoil hat bots. My original post was I wanted a toaster with a timer and got one and it does toast with the bread I like pretty good. How long it lasts I have no idea but for the $35 I'll grab another one

Customer post Company costs for shipping?

My last order was around $190, it arrived in 8 different parcels via either Aus post or courier. Don’t get me wrong I’m super grateful the order could be fulfilled completely from various stores however how the heck do Kmart not lose money on having to send 8 parcels for one sub $200 order?

Team member post Have I been hired?

Hello, I had a group interview at Kmart a couple of days ago, and the next day I received an email from Kmart basically asking for me to provide proof of my working rights. The email also contained information about Fairwork. In my past experiences, never had this information/task provided to me unless I've been hired. Plus, I remember that the interviewer told us that we would hear back next week since she still had more interviews coming up.

In regards to whether I've been hired, the wording is a little vague. Does this email mean that I've been hired, or is it just a part of Kmart's application process? It's a big company so I can imagine that they just do this to get a sense of who has working rights since so many people apply for the role/s.

Thanks in advance!

Customer post What does the AI interview want?

I applied so many times and I never get called back for a real interview.

What is the sapia chat looking for? I use the STAR method I don't know what else to do. It feels impossible to please what Kmart's ai wants.

I been long termed unemployed and its starting to get to me if I can get any tips for next time that would be great.
