I just finished watching Cairo Time and I loved the slow, subtle romance of it. Has anyone read anything similar but with two men? The plot from Rotten Tomatoes: With some time off from her job as a magazine editor, New Yorker Juliette (Patricia Clarkson) decides to share a holiday with her husband, who works for the United Nations. Upon arriving in Cairo, however, she finds he's stuck in Gaza, and he sends his former bodyguard, Tareq (Alexander Siddig) -- now relocated back in Cairo to work at his family business -- to act as her guide around the city. Soon Juliette finds herself captivated by both the city and her companion.

I would love a happy ending, too. Thank you for any advice!

And since there aren't any other comments yet, here are some other medium paced books with more subtle MM romances (or at least i remember them as such, take it with a grain of salt)
