Project Landscape visualisation for a recent project
Recently worked on the visualisation for this landscape project.
The focus was on understanding the overall design intent and translating it into visuals that communicate the atmosphere, materiality and spatial experience—not just producing a photorealistic render.
Would love to hear what landscape architects and designers here think.

It's a nice enough render. It doesn't feel real. Too clean. Too neat. Lacks scale

Fair point, and I appreciate the honest feedback. I can see what you mean about it feeling a little too clean and controlled. Landscape visualisation especially needs those small imperfections, variations and stronger human/physical scale cues to feel believable rather than just visually polished. Definitely something I'll keep in mind while refining future work. Thanks for pointing it out.

I'd like to emphasize that the render is good - I know how these "constructive" comments feel. There's clearly a good understanding. It's just about the next level

I’m not a fan of these oversaturated hyper-digitalized environments and it does not and will not reflect the actual plant material going in. Depressing. Alternatively, you could take this to a light table, trace it and try your hand at colored pencil, water color, pastels. Bring the actual art into it. Otherwise it just looks like a sims game.
This is not photorealistic, it doesn’t show what is happening through out the seasons or what happens to this when it rains. Which are obvious things to consider in landscape design.
To me you have captured some idyllic thought that flowers are in constant bloom, everything is evergreen. It’s static.
If anything I want to see a well made section detailing the plants and showing small interactions across the site.
WHAT ARE THOSE AWFUL CONCRETE CIRCLES
And can you HONESTLY imagine the price of having to lay THAT MUCH hex tile!? Yall are crazy

Yeah true I wouldn't disagree with what you have told.. but these kind of visuals are used by developers to showcase their catalogues.. to clients who are going to buy plots in their gated community

wow, this looks really nice! i love the paths and how they wind through all that greenery. the colors are so bright and inviting. the little gazebo feels like a perfect spot to chill. i bet it’ll be super peaceful once it’s all set up. tbh, i’d probably mess up the layout if i were doing this, but honestly, it kinda reminds me of using https://www.reimaginehome.ai to test out designs before committing, just to see how it flows. if u haven’t tried that, it could be helpful!

Render is fine, lacks a little life and atmosphere but this seems to be the new thing. Design is horrendous.
