Does Jumpspeak actually work for getting less afraid of speaking?

I know no app can create fluency by itself. My specific problem is that I avoid speaking until I feel ready, which means I never do it. I am looking at Jumpspeak because the AI practice sounds less intimidating than starting with strangers. Did it help anyone move from silent study to actually using their target language?

Being afraid or not is a personal thing. No app can do that.
