Finished product Dopp kit

Hello this is my first time making a dopp kit. I used some "leather" I harvested from a couch. This is my first time making a bag or doing a zipper! Let me know what you guys think and how I could improve.

Also I messed up during it and had to restitch some of it so if you guys have some good suggestion on how to get glue off please share your secrets. (Please ignore my dirty workspace)

Overall I think it looks decent. The one part of it that looks unfinished to me is the handle. I think take if you had folded it and sewn it the rough edges wouldn’t be showing and it would look more finished.

I agree with this.. the handle really needs to be doubled over and stitched.. would be a very nice bag then

Thank you my partner said the same thing. I think I will do that next time when I make it out of some Veg tan that I have

Not sure what glue you used but maybe try an eraser
