Why did you identify him merely as a "farmer" in the post title when he's the Texas Agriculture Commissioner?

You probably have to have been a farmer to hold that position. Well probably not, it's probably appointment to some unqualified nepo baby because this world sucks, but in a real world I'd assume you'd have to have that qualification

You probably have to have some experience in Intelligence to hold the position of Director of National Intelligence and you probably need to have worked in just about any field of health care to become Secretary of Health and Human Services. You’d definitely need some experience in National Security to become Secretary of Homeland Security, right? For sure you would need some high level leadership experience to become Secretary of Defense and be put in charge of a trillion dollar budget. Welp, you’d think so anyway.
