I get that people were upset that Biden threw the doors open on our borders, me too, but that could be handled much, much better than is ICE is doing.

I was at that point on a certain night in November, 2024. if bringing in foreign beef will knock the Republic*nts out of power at the Midterms, I say bring it. most folks around here are lucky if they can afford a lousy 2lbs of ground beef a week. it's not going to hurt my feelings to do without cow meat for the forseeable future. I'm past caring if I sound petty.

Besides this guy and very few others I honestly haven’t seen or heard any of them regretting anything. Last night I scrolled into a TikTok live where that was one of the questions and there was a lot of “I would vote for him again I stand ten toes down with him”. I don’t think there’s anything he could do at this point to make them turn against him.

That puts us in control, finally.

This is a serious question on whether or not we want to have an awesome country in spite of the damage that is being inflicted by the crowd that elected trump.

On a personal level, have you known anyone in a DV relationship that finally got out?

Did you shame them right away, or during their terrible relationship? Or did you become part of the recovery?

These people have been manipulated by their media and culture for so long they lost the plot, or rather they’ve been trapped in an evil plot orchestrated by power hoarders and manipulators that need Americans arguing with Americans while they invade and install the USA with the infrastructure of the surveillance state.

They NEED us to be at each other throats and be distracted while the powers that be keep closing the Trap that has been many years in the making.

They’ve been told on repeat over 40 hours a week that Libs, black folks, brown folks, queers and any number of “other” types of people “HATE AMERICA”
And are “enemies” because we have fun and care about people and try to warn them about the dangers of their bigotry would be.

We warned them not to FAFO and the are now finding out. The worst thing for Trump is that they might come to us for support and care and the actual Truth.

There are few things that make people more angry than finding out that someone they trusted has been cheating behind their backs and gaslighting you into thinking that their “truth telling friends” are untrustworthy and out to harm them .

This is the same exact thing that domestic abusers do to isolate and alienate their victim from their support network.

You are giving them too much credit. These people were not tricked or deceived. They knew exactly what they were doing. They knew that this would be horrible for the country, but they didn’t care because the goal was the suffering of others the entire time. That is literally what drove these people to do this, and it’s what drives them to continue to allow it. They will let their own lives crumble, crash and burn before lifting the horrific pain, hardship and suffering that they inflicted on millions of other people. That’s who these people are. Everyone needs to wake up to that reality and start treating these people as the sick, hateful, malevolent, deceitful, and evil people they are.

I admit I am being Optimistic, but i do live in
A red state surrounded by Conservatives and BS laws and ignorance and all kinds of hate and general dis function in a few people and some of these people need the reckoning set upon them

I am also being realistic , because there are many people that do care and do love and do stand up here too which seems to be more prevalent because they grew up

The Truth is setting us free and not in small part to the hard work and soul that our story of America has been.

We now stand against abuse and tell Truth to power and get over what keeps us down.

We have the high ground, feet planted, head raised, hearts full and eyes open for the best of who we CAN be, because of who we had to be, to be free.

Fredrick Douglas had said (paraphrased) that the slave owners were the worst off, because having become accustomed to the fruits of other peoples labors they were the least equipped to give up the things that kept them attached to a corrupt system. He said the slaves had the benefit of knowing who and what was keeping them down and could act in Justice.

This is about recovering our government and rights and the only way to do that is through the BS which is MAGA.

They need to be deprogrammed and to get there we have to look at root causes in their environment (poisoned information with an agenda) and build from there.

We know they are brainwashed and causing harm, most people blame them in particular (important) but over look the people behind them that’s programming them to destroy our system. (Stealth Important) they are used as TOOLs by our enemies.

If we don’t address the root we keep getting this fruit.

So one of the first steps is to find away to keep them from getting emotionally defensive about the Truth (when we shame them, we can’t connect with them) so that they can choose for themselves how to deal with the reality that they fucked up.

They need to refocus their anger and energy on the people that actually manipulated them. When they do they become OUR tools for Justice.

At that point, we start moving forward instead of fighting each other.

It’s a difficult one. Forgiveness and reconciliation starts with admission of failure and taking accountability. I’m not from the US but all I tend to hear is “I’m a good person, why is the leopard eating my face?”.

At this point they are not in the right place for reconciliation to occur. They need to admit they were wrong (in some videos people do this), openly state they would not vote for Trump again (this is rare, their whole psychology is now tied to the cult leader) or another Republican who espouses the same things in a less controversial way, and finally admit that people tried to warn them and they didn’t listen.

They don’t have to turn Democrat or become (in their eyes) a left wing socialist woke communist but nothing can change until they look at themselves in the mirror and take responsibility and be accountable.

After all in the New Testament that they supposedly believe, the Prodigal Son could not be forgiven until he came back to the family asking for forgiveness.

It’s not a matter of happy or unhappy, it’s a matter of realizing that mistakes have been made and learning from them. The worst thing we can do, as a country, is move on from all of this without understanding the level of damage that’s been caused. But instead of doing just that, MAGA all but asks to be let down…then has the nerve to be surprised when it actually happens. What MAGA doesn’t realize is that they have the power to stop their suffering right now, instead they choose not to. And for what, pride? C’mon. Trump supporters are going to give away their last pennies to a man who thinks they’re nothing more than rubes and suckers.

To answer your question of whether or not I’m ‘happy’ to see people lose their livelihoods, absolutely not. But after the vehement warnings and numerous red flags raised against this slimy businessman turned failed gameshow host, republicans backed him anyway. It’s hard to be compassionate towards a group of people whose collective goal, after gaining power, was to ‘own the libs’ without any real governing strategy.

Until we have elected officials who are serious about demanding the real answers, it's more important that we focus our efforts on changing what's within our control. For whatever reason, the system is not working in our favor, not even close; it's not even idling, it's regressing. Unfortunately, we're down to our last straws come November. Foreign influence or not, our fate as a nation will come down to ability to salvage lawful government proceedings.

I have schadenfreude too! It is delicious, but ultimately we don’t have time to enjoy that, because we need to eject Trump from the Whitehouse ASAP and get to the task of regaining our dignity and Trust in the world.

I personally believe that the rest of the world wants us to beat Trump in a totally awesome and American way that inspires them to take action on their own corrupt leaders.

The Truth will set us free and if only 3% of MAGA joins us then we have the opportunity to rocket out of this situation into a better new American Ideal. Where they apologize and make amends for their foolish behavior and sentiments.

Their whole grift was to convince people that their media bubble was “the only one” all others were “librul” and only they were “fair and balanced”. It was all propaganda. Then after the Soviet Union fell, the Fucking Russians realized there was a way to undermine the west much cheaper than a big war machine, they started feeding propaganda to the Right wing news bubble. They created the troll farms, the bots. Then they paid influencers that were spewing the messages they liked. That one was probably their masterpiece. They didn’t have to feed the propaganda, it had taken root. They just kept feeding the influencers money for the messaging. They didn’t have to shape it, the influencers were already doing their work. They just paid them to keep going. Now we’ve had 50 years of this demonization of the opposition and division of the western electorate. The good news is studies have shown that if you diversify the sheeple’s media diet, they become more rational and sane. The bad news is that Faux is like a drug, and they’ll likely just go back to it and revert to being fascist assholes.

You’re giving Trump too much credit. Trump isn’t the disease, he’s just the late stage symptom of the disease. This disease has been infecting the US electorate for about 120 years. Ever since Teddy Roosevelt started busting the trusts. They got steadily worse, even fomenting a fascist take over against FDR, trying to put General Smedly Butler in as dictator. That coup failed, but only just barely. They got put back for a while due to the war and the recovery. But they opposed every step of progress along the way. They opposed Women’s right to vote, they opposed the New Deal, they supported Prohibition because they could make tons of money running booze. They opposed civil rights, integration, and voting rights. They want it so only white land owning men can vote. And if so is it possible that the redistribution of wealth is going upwards and giving unbridled leverage to banking institutions which will most likely be managed by a fund or something other and now our beef is mainly nationalized or worse corporatized in a manner where we are just getting sucked dry if all our ability to purchase anything worth of value and be come private property ti the middle class
