Living in Texas now as a Massachusetts native you are 🎯🎯🎯🎯

I see it all the time down here. There are people in Texas who would vote for Satan before voting for a Democrat. It's pretty wild to see the near Psychosis the GOP has people in in Texas. As a party they have a death grip on the state.

I'm hoping this will finally be the cycle that grip is broken.

That’s the result of 50 years of propaganda. Started after Nixon resigned because he was going to be impeached. Roger Ailes and a bunch of hard core fascist Repubes got together to create a media ecosphere that would never allow that to happen to a Repube again. Thus Faux Nooze was born. Then Sinclair started scooping up the AM radio stations and turning them to hate radio. Their whole grift was to convince people that their media bubble was “the only one” all others were “librul” and only they were “fair and balanced”. It was all propaganda. Then after the Soviet Union fell, the Fucking Russians realized there was a way to undermine the west much cheaper than a big war machine, they started feeding propaganda to the Right wing news bubble. They created the troll farms, the bots. Then they paid influencers that were spewing the messages they liked. That one was probably their masterpiece. They didn’t have to feed the propaganda, it had taken root. They just kept feeding the influencers money for the messaging. They didn’t have to shape it, the influencers were already doing their work. They just paid them to keep going. Now we’ve had 50 years of this demonization of the opposition and division of the western electorate. The good news is studies have shown that if you diversify the sheeple’s media diet, they become more rational and sane. The bad news is that Faux is like a drug, and they’ll likely just go back to it and revert to being fascist assholes.

They could be literally being shot at by the republicans in broad daylight and with cameras all over and they would still think it's OK for this to happen to them and, if they survive, would still vote for them. Only death can break this grip.
