Ranchers are upset that black and brown people haven't filled the positions of migrant workers.

Lol. My cousins and I inherited 150 acres. When I tried to convince them to collaborate on a farm based business they accused me of trying to turn them into slaves. If black folks don’t want to be slaves on their own land, why would they do it on yours? 😘

I mean I totally disagreed but you can’t argue with the fact that it’s hard work, hot work, and every day.

Americans have no idea how lucky we were to have a source of desperate cheap labor. Not just farms either.

Do you have any idea how much you’d have to pay me to wipe some boomers ass since they refuse to die and are so old they can’t do it themselves?

Dont I know it lol. I don’t blame them, but the long term benefits would’ve definitely been worth it

It's all about scale, small farm life is chill as fuck...mostly

I got nothing. I moved back because my parents were ill. I stayed for the chill.

🤣🤣🤣 you obviously know absolutely nothing about farming, big or small. Go back to your little LA or NY apartment. There is nothing chill about REAL farm life

I love how wrong you are

An alpaca "farm" is a bit different....

Who said anything about alpaca "farms"(whatever that means)?

Your name is literally "710AlpacaBowl" and you're saying farms are chill. My guess is that you're basing "farms are chill" on someone in your family retiring early and buying some alpacas and saying that's a farm.

Lololol no man. I have a goat heard, rabbits, turkey, peacocks, chickens, and pigeons. On top of a sizeable garden. You should probably think about the username a bit longer though you might catch the joke

WYA, I want some farmland

Oh, child. In SC? It’s a centennial farm (over 100 yo) in rural red SC. Land is cheap b/c heirs are selling out and moving away. Ofc if more redditors buy land here… it’ll get purple. 🤣

Cool, Im in GA so SC is 2 hours from me plus I have family there. Im fine with purchasing land in a Red area, mostly everything for sale is in rural red areas

The problem with that is they spread like a plague. No one wants to live in those areas but they go to nicer areas and vote like they always did. That’s how Florida went from a swing state to a Republican hell hole.

Sorry, but if my people went through that shit, you wouldn’t catch me within 10 miles of a farm, just in case someone gets an idea again.

Clearly that’s how they feel ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
