Honestly, I know we are tired but maybe taking the higher road and helping them will prevent them going down a darker road….naw, fuck em.
35
u/PeyredB 1d ago
Yeah, I'm sick of that too. We've tried, for years, to sympathize with them, try to understand and support policies that would help small farmers and ranchers. Their response? F$#@ YOU LIBTARDS!
For years.
I know I at least am sick of trying. They insisted on making this bed - let them lie on it.

u/geddysbass2112 1d ago
Yeah, i used to say take the high road and have integrity. Unfortunately the population voting for Trump have none so fuck them now.

u/Gdmf13 1d ago
Yup, I would love for the Dems to show any sort of a backbone and start calling people/ organizations out but unfortunately they appear to be a bunch of spineless cowards as well, as long as people are getting their pockets lined by foreign interests the American people are fucked. We’re playing into their hands, divide a society with petty differences and plunder everything they have.
7
u/geddysbass2112 1d ago
Yeah i get it. A bunch of harsh tweets ain't cutting it. Divide us and rob us blind. If the dems win the midterms, they better step it the fuck up or it will be game over.
8
u/Gdmf13 1d ago
Yup, personally, I think most of the elected dems in office now are already bought and paid for. It really is a shame. It’s class warfare masquerading as white folks against people of color, dividing the country while the top 1% fill their pockets, hopefully the American public will realize this and vote for change before our voting rights are completely stripped, which is what is happening right now.
6
u/geddysbass2112 1d ago
I agree. Other than the progressives, alot of the dems are bought. It is a shame. America is really great again. /s
3
u/Gdmf13 1d ago
My comment was an over simplification of what is happening, there is also systemic racism trying to disenfranchise people of color of their rights, wether it’s underfunded education or just straight up catering to the lowest common denominator via social media, which brings out the worst in people.

u/Bobsmith38594 1d ago
They brought this on everyone. I am not sympathetic to them in the least. I never agreed with this idea that liberals, leftists, Democrats, and everyone else skeptical of Trump had an obligation to “understand” MAGA voters and coddle them. Let them have the day they voted for.

Remember the soy beam farmer's being fucked next?

Case in point, The number of people who have been impacted by him and his administration to the COVID PANDEMIC. People lost their lives, families lost their relatives and not a small number, but No One even cares, having to attend a funeral virtually, there elderly, middle aged, young adults, teenagers, children who are no longer here due to his actions or lack thereof. But some of those same people who lost their family members voted for him, just like the farmers did after what he did previously
3
u/geddysbass2112 1d ago
I know a woman who's boyfriend died from covid, wasn't vaccinated, and she still bitching about dems and "the jab". Then I see her post how she misses him years later and I bite my tongue. But I feel like telling her he'd be here still if you weren't fucking ignorant. I finally muted her. Old family friend that was a sweet person I thought but it just is head scratching.

They will vote for Trump again like mindless animals with no ability to self regulate their own emotions, so a conman does it for them with ease. Sure they are mad now and saying this, but that will change.
All it takes is a few racist dog whistles like, They're eating the cats and dogs! And presto.
Like a child schooling fish into his net with a big scary stick, Trump will get all their votes again.

Remember when homeowners were getting foreclosed on and the Pubbies kept saying, "well they should never have been approved for a loan in the first place..." well, I guess these cattle farmers should never have been given loans if they aren't responsible farm owners

u/Due_Aside4863 1d ago
I grew up on a cattle farm and my mom recently told me she had no choice but to vote for Trump because “Kamala hated America.”
She was dead serious.

When are people going to realize that politicians don’t grow food or raise it? Republican farmers don’t vote democrat for reasons that have nothing to do with farming..but in today’s society, everything has to be made political so you can point across the isle and call someone a dumbass to make yourself feel good

If only there were an entire document outlining this very thing... wait, there was.
It's all part off project 2025. Squeeze the little farm until they file for bankruptcy, then the corporate conglomerates buy them up.
I'm purposely linking an article from 2024 that explains this, to prove this information was out there before the farmers voted for Trump: https://www.americanprogress.org/article/project-2025s-plan-to-gut-checks-and-balances-harms-rural-america/

Also the NCBA fluffing Trump, and blaming Biden for drought prices.
“Congratulations to President-Elect Trump for his historic victory last night and for running such a hard-fought campaign. NCBA is excited to work with the President-Elect to undo the harm which cattle producers have endured under four years of “Bidenomics” and restore the free-market principles which have made U.S. cattle and beef the finest and safest in the world.” said NCBA Vice President of Government Affairs Ethan Lane. “Despite cattle prices soaring to record highs over the previous years, producers have been squeezed by exceptionally high input costs, record inflation, and the Biden Administration’s so-called competition agenda. This is the perfect opportunity to execute a hard reset on all of these failed policies.”

This is the power of propaganda in a closed environment. This is how churches have operated for generations in small towns, and republicans politics just copied that model. Inundate small town uneducated folks with propaganda about values and how the outside world is scary, evil, and immoral, then sweep in to be the savior with all the answers. The people living in isolation are less likely to venture out into to the bigger world to fact check any of it with their own eyes and ears.

But in MagRat Texas they say, "Let's all buy the same Cowboy hat and brain, then follow Paxton over that cliff!"
No true independent Texan ever followed a Boss Hog to the bottom!
Hey, MagRats O' Texas - how does Sean Hannity of Fox News own 870 single family residences and still some dumbass FOX Bot -Fleshbag says, "Duh, he's all "small town" that Sean."
I am betting that moral sh*t pit Paxton would file all those houses as his primary residence (870). ...After letting go pedos of course. F-ing disgrace!!

When the media are bringing stories for literal months about the horrible quality of the output from US agriculture, and the government is not running defence, that means it placed there on purpose and foreign imports are about the hit the shelves. These people are playing the violin in a game of fiddlesticks.
I really can't feel sorry for Americans. They live in a capitalist society and are illiterate when it comes to reading the signs. They are like hunter-gatherers who don't even register the footprints in the mud.

Big difference between "Nobody warned me" and "I wouldn't listen".
