They are losing their livelihood, but it was worth it because the Republicans passed laws relating to banning a handful of transgendered people from playing in sports that have no effect on their ranch. It’s priorities people. Losing their ranch is a small price to pay if it means a handful of transgendered people are banned from sports that the ranchers will never play.

"I voted as a rancher" - Well, trump has screwed over ranchers on numerous occasions, both this administration and his last one.

You lived through the first Trump administration, where he F***ed farmers and ranchers, then bailed them out with some welfare handouts, and you (or at least your fellow farmers&ranchers) voted for him again in 2020, and again in 2024.
You have some empathy for other people and that's a good thing. But you do seem to draw some rather questionable lines there. I have a sneaking suspicion that "parents should have a say in what their young children are exposed to at school" hides a very broad idea of what parents should be able to dictate to schools. And on the LGBTQ bit, I have a feeling there's a deeper meaning there behind "there should be boundaries when it comes to children."
And we're back to economics. Yes, you're absolutely right that you can disagree legitimately with the policies of someone you voted for. Completely right. But in this case, you voted for someone you knew would screw over you and yours, but you expected him to bail you out as a result, and I suspect you're complaining because in this case the handouts weren't forthcoming.

Bro never pretended to have a plan for anything. His entire platform was based on hate and scapegoating vulnerable people, so if THAT’S what outweighed voting for sound farming policy then absolutely FUCK YOU and GOOD.

I think she’s mad that she bought the bullshit and instead of admitting that she made a colossal mistake, she’s gonna whine that because she voted for this idiot she shouldn’t be responsible for the things he did that now hurts her. It’s ok that others get hurt, but not her.
I also think that we shouldn’t gloat that she got hurt because we look as bad as she does.
She should be working on her own plan of getting out of this mess and educating herself and others like her (ranchers), to show some sort of remorse and responsibility and then genuinely ask for help in a way that is believable that she and other ranchers will change as people who are trying to leave a cult.
The one thing that can fix all of this is working together to solve these issues, but I don’t think that’s gonna happen any time soon.
Her ego hasn’t taken enough of a beating yet. I guess once she loses her farm she’ll come around.
