New Karma & Cross-Posting Rules
Hey Astrosluts, Astro-curious, and everything astro in-between! We have a few new rules added to the sub:
✨No Cross-Posting (honestly always hated this, it's lazy and annoying)
✨100 Karma account minimum for commenting & posting (this is to try and get the bots on this platform to fuck off from this sub....among other shit along the same lines)
***The exceptions to this are the posts I've made "calling all people with Galactic Center contacts." Regardless of account karma people are still able to leave comments on those posts to be a part of the research.
While it's probably NOT necessary to make a post about this, full transparency is important. Thank you all for being here and participating in the community 💜

Guess the Badass- Birthday week post!
Hello friends!
My birthday is this week, and being born on an eclipse myself I am absolutely out here feeling like the crypt keeper. So instead of doing a guess the asshole post, I wanna do something a bit less dreary and move away from assholes to focus on an absolute badass.
This badass shares my birthday (not date, just the day), in fact! I think not enough people know about and appreciate this person, and like any Virgo, I like to make sure to give credit where it's due. This person is a fucking hero and an icon and the world is a better place because they were born. They're so much more remarkable than I could ever hope to be.
All the usual rules apply:
Put your thinking caps on friends and foes, we're playing a game!
This is a fun practice exercise for your own astro prowess and a bit of a history lesson if you're so inclined.
Here's how it works:
This person is a bona fide badass. They're a real life person whose actions have led to real life impacts. They're also a person with complex lives, so their charts are chock full of details you can pull out without knowing who they are
Look at the chart, describe who you see using your astrological knowledge. This is NOT a game of ‘reverse ephemeris’ people!
The more detailed the better- you don't have to actually guess who they are or what they did, but if you sit with the chart long enough you might surprise yourself.
If you do make a guess at who it is mark it with a spoiler tag
If you cheat it will make you the biggest asshole of the post- show your work!
\If you comment just a name, reverse engineer the birth date, or if you don't spoiler your guess it will be removed**
Answers will be available next Monday (probably)
Happy Hunting Folks!

Why did my friend tell me that my chart was bad?
My friend who’s new to chart reading wanted to see my chart for practice and quickly told me that my chart was “horrible”.
Usually I’m not phased by these things, but because I’ve been struggling to find what I’m meant for, it’s been on my mind for a while.
Growing up I’ve had so many dreams from becoming a model, a writer, an artist, a musician, a doctor.. the list goes on.
But just as good is as important as bad, I would like to hear both sides, along with some things I can do or look into to straighten up my life.
Please and thank you!!

House Energy ♆ Your IC/MC and the Personal Experience of the Parental Axis
Everyone knows that beyond the Sun and Saturn as the father, and the Moon as the mother, we have the IC and the MC, which bring a lot of information about the chart owner's perspective or point of view on their parents.
Contrary to what many think.
Specifically, the IC corresponds to the father and the MC to the mother, according to several books and astrologers.
However, the meaning can shift depending on different moments in life.
For example:
I have my IC in Pisces, which symbolizes a rather chaotic, disorganized nurturing figure linked to addiction, clutter, absence, compassion, sensitivity, vulnerability, and faith.
Meanwhile, my MC in Virgo speaks of a rather hard-working, practical, orderly, grounded authority figure who tries to be functional in one way or another.
My father was a drug addict, a drug dealer, and a thief. Truth be told, he was quite absent during my childhood, but he was a pretty violent guy.
I have the Sun conjunct Mars, squaring Pluto and the Moon, so yeah, that explains why he was so borderline.
Even so, that Sun is placed in the 9th house; several years ago he "redeemed himself" and joined a church. He has told me many times that I was the Apocalypse. XD
As for my mother, she is a very hard-working woman who is always in "why buy it if you can make it yourself?" mode. From my perspective, that is a very Virgo vision.
In fact, I also experienced her absence because she was working, but she doesn't like drugs.
With a 6th House Moon, it once again reinforces this idea of a mother heavily focused on her work.
Pluto opposes my Moon, and the Sun-Mars aspect discharges in a square, so my mother is also someone to be feared; she isn't impulsive, but she is quite intense and never let anyone dominate her. In fact, it is my father who is afraid of her to this day. So, in a way, she fulfilled a role that was more protective and autonomous than he did.
Even so, nowadays she is more focused on spirituality, likes Reiki, joined a church, and somehow started to resonate more with my IC in Pisces. Plus, my natal Moon forms a trine with Neptune.
And my father somehow started showing the more Virgo side of "reorganizing his life," not drinking alcohol, working, and "wanting to do things the right way," etc.
Without rambling any further...
I ask you:
In which houses do you place your parents? What is your experience with them? What are the aspects in your chart? Comment below! :3

Let's Fuck With Astrology! (Theory/Idea) For my Hellenistic folks: can a cazimi be subject to enclosure?
Note: not my chart, just using it as an example since I've literally never seen this before and I'm scratching my head trying to figure out how to size up these dignities.
So first, we have an extremely close triple planet cazimi that is receiving a superior square ray from Saturn and a sextile ray from Mars. These are all very close aspects. Now, I know that the cazimi itself is maltreated by the superior square from a malefic planet (Saturn), but would this also be an instance of malefic enclosure?
As you can see, Mars shoots a sextile ray to 14°46 Aries, while Saturn's square ray hits 13°38 Aries. In between these two rays we have the cazimi. Now, normally, the presence of multiple planets would disrupt the effect of enclosure by intervention. But in this case, because both Venus and Mercury are in the heart of the Sun (very much in the heart of the heart I would say), could we really say that they are in a position to actually intervene to disrupt the enclosure?
I guess another way to ask this question is whether Venus and Mercury have the capacity to act independently of the Sun when they are in such a close cazimi, or really a cazimi in general? I would tend to think not, but if this is the case, then it means the cazimi itself must be subject to malefic enclosure. And in this case it’s a very significant issue because it’s the difference between having all three of these planets maltreated by enclosure vs none of them (although the superior square continues to apply regardless). Thank you!

Personal Chart Question Why do I struggles in my one-on-one relationships?
In all my relationships, no matter if they are romantic, platonic, etc., I have always felt unappreciated and disrespected. I also have never felt like i’ve truly connected with anyone, not even in a best-friends type of way.
Is it due to uranus being in my 7th house? Are all my relationships going to feel and be like this??

Just fucking around - Avert your eyes if you want I dont think I can do a 9 to 5 again....
Because my moon is so close to the ascendant I can't even hide that I don't want to be there.
I will never get over the fact that somewhere in the world someone is microblading somewhere making 10 - 20 grand a month or someone is in the studio talking about drinking lean and getting rich.
Even for a studio running role I had to look at rappers with their chains shining in the dark and was losing my mind - I can't do this anymore... I literally only cry when I think about not being rich yet 😂

Transits 8H saturn transits and karmic partners
So I recently met with an astrologer and they told me how Saturn currently transiting my 8H will bring karmic partners; however, I was also told this back when Saturn was transiting my 7H in Pisces. It was actually crazy how this played out in my chart as I had a long term relationship spanning the entirety of Saturn transiting my 7H and we broke up not long after it moved into my 8H. But now I’m being told that it’s just another 3 years of karmic partners as Saturn goes through the 8H ?? I’m curious where this perspective comes from as I feel like the idea of Saturn transiting through the 7H makes sense as that relates to long term partnership, but the 8H doesn’t focus as much on it. I also personally feel like the idea of “karmic partners” can get kind of overused in the pop astrology world, but would love to hear personal takes on this!

Personal Chart Question Does my chart indicate being unlucky in love and career?
I’ve had a very unlucky past decade in love and in career. I feel like for some reason they go hand in hand for me. I’ve had many heart wrenching breakups and failed relationships and also careers that didn’t work out or suddenly shift. It feels semi like no matter what I do or how hard I try, I fail.
Does it get better? How can I navigate this with my placements.

Struggling and not sure why
I've been in such a funk lately and can't point to any one thing. I just don't seem to have a lot of energy or enthusiasm for work or to do my usual chores. It's even been hard to be out of the house. Any ideas and any suggestions? Thanks so much.

Let's Fuck With Astrology! (Theory/Idea) Davison chart rising signs: the face of your Relationship
How is everyone feeling after the lunar eclipse? I'm feeling more energized today.
This post is from my own tumblr blog, please share your opinions. This is a general observation based on my own experience, people I know and clients ❤️.
In relationship astrology, the davison chart is a powerful tool used to analyze the soul and purpose of a relationship. Unlike synastry, which focuses on the dynamics between two people, the davison chart which is similar to the composite but I prefer not counting on solely one looks at the relationship as a third entity. But what makes the davison so unique is that it creates an actual birth chart for the relationship based on a real moment in time and space, as if the connection were a living breathing entity.
One of the most revealing placements in a davison chart is the ascendant or rising sign which represents:
-the overall energy & personality of the relationship.
-how others perceive the couple.
-the first impression the relationship gives off
-the couple;s approach to challenges and experiences together.
Fire risings (aries, leo, sagittarius)
passionate, bold, and energetic relationships. These couples live on adventure, excitement, and spontaneity but also face power struggles if not careful
Aries rising – the relationship is fast moving, exciting, passionate. Strong chemistry but conflicts can arise due to impulsiveness or competitiveness. Others see the couple as bold and energetic.
Leo rising – a couple that turns heads like for real. Charismatic, playful, and romantic, leo Rising relationships are full of grand gestures, affection, pride in each other. Ego clashes can occur if both partners crave the spotlight.
Sagittarius rising – I've seen this relationship is all about freedom, growth, and exploration. The couple may travel often, engage in ideology discussions or have a non traditional relationship structure. Others see them as fun loving, adventurous, and independent.
Earth risings (taurus, virgo, capricorn)💚
Grounded, stable, and long term oriented relationships. These couples prioritize practicality, loyalty and building a secure foundation together.
Taurus rising – a very sensual, affectionate and grounded connection. This relationship values comfort, stability, emotional security. Others see the couple as romantic and dependable but there may be stubbornness or resistance to change because we all know how hard headed earth signs be.
Virgo rising – relationship based on growth, service, shared routines so this couple thrives on helping each other improve but they could overanalyze the relationship at times. Others see them as practical, intelligent, very organized.
Capricorn rising – this relationship is serious, committed, and goal oriented. The couple focus on building a future together, career success, or long term plans. They may appear reserved or traditional to others but they actually have a strong sense of loyalty and structure.
Air risings (gemini, libra, Aquarius)
Intellectually stimulating and social relationships. These couples thrive on communication, curiosity, and mental connection.
Gemini rising – full of lively conversations, humor, constant change. The couple enjoy learning together, trying new experiences, engaging in playful banter. Others see them as fun and sociable but possibly unpredictable
Libra rising – now that's a relationship that embodies romance, harmony and social grace. This couple is naturally charming and enjoys aesthetic beauty, shared experiences, and emotional connections. Others see them as elegant and balanced but conflict avoidance can be an issue
Aquarius rising – it feels unique, unconventional, and even ahead of its time. This couple values freedom, individuality, and shared visions for the future. Others may see them as rebellious or unconventional but they live on intellectual and spiritual connection like who cares?
Water risings (cancer, scorpio, pisces)
Deeeeeepppp, emotional, and transformative relationships. These couples experience powerful emotional bonding, strong intuition, and yeah sometimes karmic or past life connections.
Cancer rising – VERY VERY nurturing, emotional, protective relationship. The couple create a home like atmosphere together and prioritize family and emotional security. Others see them as gentle, caring, and intuitive and they really are.
Scorpio rising – passionate as hell and life changing. They just catch your eye. This relationship is built on emotional and sexual bonding, dom and sub themes, personal transformation. Others may view them as mysterious, private, or intimidating but their love is profound.
Pisces rising – dreamy, spiritual, very intuitive as well. This relationship feels like a fairytale or destined connection. The couple share artistic, musical, spiritual interests. Others see them as romantic and compassionate but potentially unrealistic or escapist.

What does Lilith conj ascendant mean in a gay man's chart?
First, is it even considered a conjunction if Lilith and the ascendant are around 5 degrees apart? I was curious to know how this 29 degree Lilith placement would manifest for me as a gay man. I will say that I do love my big, dark brown eyes and I do have a RBF as well, but I don't know if it's influenced by this placement as much as it's influenced by the Capricorn stellium. haha! What does the mean in regards to how other people perceive me? Anything I should be cautious about?
I appreciate the help!

Some things I've realized in a few years of learning astrology
I’m sure there's more, but wanted to get this out, and also am curious as to people's reactions. Just a totally random set of observations.
In no particular order:
The ascendant should be treated as a third benefic… it gives you certain powers.
The sign of the ascendant is also how you initially see the world. It also represents your body and the way others see you initially.
Second house among other things represents self-worth.
The chart ruler and its position doesn’t indicate how you see the world… but rather the destination towards which you are trying to steer the ship. The chart ruler is the captain and decision-maker, but it is in a sense blind and dependent on the ascendant, which is its first mate and does the navigation.
The sun explains what gives you energy, motivation, drive.
The moon explains your emotional life and your access to your emotions.
Sun and moon can also represent father and mother. Saturn can also represent father.
Look for key events in your life and see what the very closest aspects activated on that day are… that tells you a lot about how the planets function in your chart.
Related: you may find that certain odd aspects are extremely critical for you -- e.g. biquintiles and the like. Note that down.
A house in a mutable sign suggests the possibility of more life changes occurring there.
Look at powerful oppositions and squares as huge opportunities. Look at the relevant planets and houses, and try to come up with a SYNTHESIS that satisfies all the different planets’ needs. If you can do that, you’ll gain a huge amount in your life.
Sect matters. Your sect benefic typically delivers huge good fortune and luck in whatever house it’s in.
Time lords in whole sign houses work. They are the most powerful predictive instruments.
The ancient/traditional predictors of death (look them up if you’re interested) can be surprisingly accurate.
Different house systems and even different zodiacs (tropical, sidereal) can often symbolize the same stuff in different ways. E.g. a sun in Aries in one system might be reflected by a Mars in the 1st house in another. Not exactly the same thing, but there’s definitely some overlapping symbolism.
To understand how a chart works, you need to really start piecing together the person’s personality and events and see how that’s reflected in the chart. Then you can start to extrapolate from there. There’s a kind of back and forth between understanding the life and understanding how the chart reflects that life.
Progressed sun and moon say a lot about your current personality and overall desires/inclinations.
A planet works in the STYLE of the house it’s located in to serve the PURPOSES of the houses it rules.
Debilitation doesn’t mean a placement is bad; a debilitated placement can have many cool qualities. It DOES however mean that the planet has trouble serving the purposes of the houses it rules — meaning there’s some difficulty brining those houses to their most mature, integrated state. Debilitations can be mitigated by aspects from benefics.
4th and 8th are profoundly psychological. The 12th house is the most spiritual. The 9th house in terms of religion is more academic.
Mutual reception of signs is a good thing
Natural rulerships of the houses (e.g. 12th house = Pisces, ruled by Jupiter) can be quite useful in seeing what's going on
The ultimate goal, I think, is to get as close to allowing each planet and all the aspects their mutually harmonious expression in your life

Ive been told i have a very…. Interesting 5th house and a rough 11th house lol. Very curious to what all the squares/oppositions regarding my 5th house placements could mean for me. I’m still new to learning all this, so if any of my placements or aspects across my chart could stick out to anyone, PLEASE tell me anything and what it means! I’m extremely grateful for any insight what so ever! Thank you!
I’m currently extremely struggling with figuring out what the hell i want to do with my life and I seem to struggle heavily with friendship betrayal. Any insight on really any of my placements/aspects across my chart would be amazingly helpful!

Horary Fresh out of a Technical Interview! Cast a horary chart for a Junior BA role.. would love to know ur take! 💻🔮
Just finished my technical interview for a Junior Business Analyst position today, and while I’m keeping my fingers crossed, I decided to cast a horary chart to check the energy. Looking at the placements, I’m really hoping to get a clearer picture, will I actually get this job offer at THIS COMPANY as a Junior BA?
On one hand, I notice Mercury sitting so strong in its home sign of Virgo in the 10th House, which feels like a encouraging sign for the technical aspect of the role. On the other hand, the Moon making an opposition to it makes me wonder if there might be some delays, negotiations, or friction ahead before anything is finalized.
I’m still trying to balance both sides objectively, so I’d genuinely love to hear how other readers interpret these dynamics. Any insights or second opinions would mean a lot!

Just fucking around - Avert your eyes if you want I’ve asked what careers I should do…what careers should I absolutely NOT do
I’m 23 and currently at an okay office job. I’m looking to go somewhere else. I have two majors and a minor (none of which relate to each other…all are kinda useful but I’d need more school). Anyway I’ve asked what I should on other platforms before but I’m also interested in what I should NOT do.
