Nx redesign
I don't understand why IS is always neglected when it comes to redesigns. NX redesign gets next gen tech and design while IS gets the aged interior for the next 4 years. Guess we just have to wait lol

I have a 2026 IS and love it but unfortunately that’s what happens when the car sells decently but not at the same level as the cash cows.

What Lexuses do you get in your country? Here in México we get all the RX, NX, LX, UX, TX, and GX. But the only cars we get are the IS350 F Sport RWD and the LC 500(still available).

LBX (small crossover), UX, NX, RX and ES. Soon we get the giant TX ( will never be sold since it is too big). Maybe the LC is also still available.
They are all also only hybrids, plugin hybrids or electric.

Its old tech. Nx just got the next gen refresh/redesign. I guess IS next gen might be released as a new car so who knows

It's definitely newer than what the IS has before and it has caused a huge increase in IS sales

I wasn't comparing it to the old one. New sales increase expected after a redesign we will see how it holds up after that. With the new gen being more common

why would that matter lol? You can enjoy ur car and still talk about areas of improvement for future models. Is350 lacks a lot and rather than gassing up a few improvements, i want something worth buying. Sorry that hurt ur feelings tho

You might have misunderstood. My point was that many 26 IS drivers love the updated interior and tech. I was suggesting that you may not own a 26 IS and therein might not be drawing from primary experience. Apologies if I misunderstood and you do. Everyone’s entitled to an opinion.

Oh no worries. I think the interior is very nice as well. My only annoyance is that this shouldve been out sooner so the refreshed version shared traits from the new nx. I guess this won't change until they change IS model to the new platform

At this point end the IS line. Introduce a replacement that comes in a sedan or coupe.

It doesn’t need a redesign, it just needed a more up to date interior. A redesign would mean you’d lose to bulletproof drivetrain and over engineered suspension and exhaust.
It’s still one of the best looking cars on the road, not sure what you want.

IS received a refresh and new interior only a few years ago. It should have been more but it is something.

IS is the only model Lexus still offers that will have proven long-term reliability and resale value. If you want something with new tech and planned obsolescence, get a KIA. Or maybe the new ES!
