Am i cooked?

Can i replace this part or do i need to replace the whole sub frame? 2008 Lexus IS250 one side is rusted broken and the other side seems like its about to go too.

Yeah im asking if theres a certain part i can replace or if i need to replace the whole rear subframe

Those pieces are separate from the subframe. They’re called suspension crossmember stops, and cost like $130 CAD each.

The subframe also costs like $2,700 CAD, and is a hell of a lot of work.

There is one of those on either side. You can replace it without removing much more than the plastic cover beneath it. There are different parts listed for AWD or RWD, and there are different ones for the right and left sides of the car.

Order them from your dealer; they’re like $130 (CAD) per side.

They’re called “Suspension Crossmember Stop”; there are also rubber cushions that you should replace at the same time that go between those and the chassis.

It will be in the suspension section, under rear suspension mounting, once you enter what kind of IS you have. As I mentioned, there are different parts for RWD and AWD, and different ones for the right and left of the car.
