Fingerprint

It's there some kind of software or trick to make the fingerprint works?

My t14 1gen don't recognize them..

I'm on devuan Excalibur BTW... 😂

Use some leet dusty distro and get crickets for support 😉 ( I've never understood this systemd rebellion... It's excellent and much cleaner than the pig's ear that proceeded it). Anyway, anyone that picks such a distro for philosophical reasons can surely manage this.... 😀 I jest... Though personally I got tired of risking my sanity and system integrity with hacks and config clowning to get fingerprint working properly : a quick Google will show it's as fubarred now as twenty years ago.. in short? I wouldn't bother. I've used ThinkPads for years and never missed it, but if you get it working, let us know how for posterity and Google goodness.

I've never used a finger print reader, because it exponentially increases the risk of someone potentially wanting to steal my finger. I prefer to keep my secrets safely inside my brain.
