Picked this up years ago and still love it, a big wall piece of Mother Bear holding Little Bear, about 3½ feet tall.
The style is so classic! Anyone else have Little Bear decorations or merch? It always makes me smile when I walk past it.

Do you have any Little Bear books, old VHS/DVDs, plushies, artwork, or handmade items inspired by the show?
Feel free to share photos or just describe them. Vintage finds, modern recreations, nursery decorations, birthday cards… all welcome.

I know this sub's probably dead, and this topic has been discussed many times before, but I wanted to bring this up anyway. Some of my theories are that Emily simply became a less convenient character from a storytelling standpoint. Maybe Jennifer Martini was getting too old to play the character. Or perhaps the show gradually refocused on the animal cast. But what does everybody else think?

I want some merch! Like a nice blanket! Any recs?

Trying to look for great options, I think I will be pursing a project before the holidays creep up and use little bear for all of the holiday decor (just maybe adding a hat or something to "switch" between halloween/thanksgiving/christmas!

I fixed some details on the last ones since I didn't really like how I drew them (mostly little bears face looked off) on the second image I added tutu and mitzi, as well as Emily, its kind of crowded so if someone happens to print out these paper dolls and they don't stand well, let me know so I can space then out a bit and fix them. I didn't add the tabs that make them stand but I figured it was simple enough to figure out but if not I can make a new one! Feel free to download these and do whatever you want with them, print out on regular paper for paper dolls, or iron on paper to make stuffed animals/shirts I'd love to see the outcome!

Hello all! I’m trying to find a moment from an episode I remember as a kid. It’s at the end of an episode and there’s a little creature silhouette outside of little bears window. I’m not sure if it exists but it’d be after an episode where little bear is convinced this creature? (could be a goblin or something) doesn’t exist but then it shows up at his window. please help!

This year we made little bears mixed berry marshmallow pie With our toddler several times. Thought you’d all enjoy

Ingredients:

1 cup blackberries

2 cups raspberries

1/3 cup sugar

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp vanilla

marshmallows (measure with your heart)

2 tbsp raspberry jam

2 tbsp cornstarch

honey is optional

marshmallow fluff is optional

Bake at 350 for 35ish minutes, longer or shorter for your preference

Made some little bear images you can print out and do as you wish with them, birthday card, poster, whatever! What do you imagine little bear to be like as an adult? I would guess he’s a fisherman out on the ocean with his dad, still being visited by his mermaid and whale friends and occasionally owl who flies out to meet them

For cardboard cut outs I would say rent a movie projector from your local library, upload the image in and trace on cardboard and paint or color your own as the cheapest option! But there are also websites online where you can upload this and make a card board cut out, if you want paper dolls just print with your regular at home printer! (These are not my original characters, these are from the 1995 TV series little bear, I just feel like there should be more merch out there for new fans of the show)

What episode is your favorite and what do you love about it? And I mean the full episode, not just one story in the episode.

For me it’s S2.E7: Snowball Fight / Winter Solstice / Snowbound. I love the winter and I find these episodes so cozy and comforting. Sometimes I just play it on repeat while doing other things.

So I watched the little bear movie, and it had me thinking. Cub finally finds his parents at the end, and little bear and duck are found by the others and little bears parents. Little bear starts to say he wants his parents to meet Cubs parents but it weirdly cuts that off and has Cub saying goodbye to Little Bear and then running back to his parents who have already begun to scale the mountain.

I wondered if there was some weird lore that the wild bears (in this case) don’t actually communicate to the domesticated bears. Like there’s some disconnect (atleast in the adults case) because they have such different lifestyles. The movie seems to focus a lot on how the wilderness is full of danger, such as the mountain lion, and not like the village. So maybe little bears parents treat the adult bears in the same manner. They did take care of Cub for a bit (I assume because he’s young) but it was just weird to me how the parents had no interest in atleast meeting each other.

It’s a kids show, I know I’m over analyzing it lol. Just thought it was interesting.

Just watched the episode where little bear and family get snowed in at Granny's house. She gives them Russian pajamas and says she got them on a trip to russia as an ambassador. B.S.. I don't buy it. Why are you living off grid in the middle of the woods, with animals as your only friends? Either she is a Russian spy living off grid, getting Intel or a retired CIA agent.

I used to watch Little Bear as a small child and it was my favourite series. I remember an episode where Little Bear had a quilt or similar blanket with charms on it. Does anyone know which episode that is?
