What is this? Squirrel/Chipmunk style tailed Lizard (Identification Please)
My apologies for the poor photo quality (screenshots from video thru a screen).
This lizard is about the size of a gecko, but its tail looks like a squirrel or chipmunk. Flicking its tail upward. It also has a red throat flair. Southwest Florida. The only thing I've found online is about squirrels eating lizards. Thank you in advance.

I'd say it's a green anole. They can shift color to brown or gray and the males have the red throat thing in breeding season.

My thing is the chipmunk style tail. Perhaps a dropped tail to ward off predators?

Knowing it has a red throat flair this is definitely a brown anole.
