Looking for help for a Christmas gift for my sister. We do themed gifts every year and this year is “Morning” and she’s mentioned enjoying the daft punk Lofi YouTube videos and wanting to add more vinyl to her collection. So I’m searching for a French house Lofi style artist they sells vinyl. May be a stretch but I think synthwave would be up her alley as well. Not against a Lofi girl record if one is release in the next couple months.

With that info, any artists, compilations, vibes that come to mind? Ideally has vinyl but any recommendations would be cool to make a playlist for her. Thanks in advance!

I use deezer to listen to music and I always had plenty of lofi girl/chilled cow albums downloaded. However, a few days ago, they all seemed to have disappeared and I can't even find the artist account anymore. Did this also happen to anyone else?

I'm looking for a channel that I thought was lofi girl. It had a tropical port city background and kites as the image. It was more summery/tropical lofi music. Not a lot to go on but I was hoping someone remembers it.

I'm currently wrapping up the final version of my master thesis, and I really wanted to thank LofiGirl and the LofiGirl community !

I discovered Lofi and LofiGirl back in the cow days, when I was in highschool, and she helped me go through all of my exams till the end of college.. about 9 years now, hard years, but worth it..

This book, I finished it a few minutes ago (the pic was a bit earlier), while listening to LofiGirl. And even though I have work tomorrow, I feel like the student version of myself can rest and take some vacations now !

I can't wait to deliver this, and I can't wait to finally graduate, I'll be sure to put LofiGirl on my graduation cap and send the pic here

So today I copied the link of the lofi girl channel from the current YouTube website, and I pasted it in the Wayback Machine. I went to the first scan of the channel in 2016. I clicked on a video and opened it in a new tab, and copied the link, and pasted it into a split screen window of the Notes app. (I have a Mac) I also put the title of the video, and if I could find it, I put the archived link to the video on either the watch page in the Wayback Machine or on the internet archive. if it was available and the date it was published. On the watch page of the video, in the recommended section, there were more ChilledCow videos, as well as other videos from Lofi channels from the era of any video I clicked on. I opened more videos in new tabs, and before I knew it, it was 1am. Also, when doing this, it made me realize how much the lofi music genre has changed over the past 11 years, which is why I’m doing this in the first place. I did one video at a time, so that window with the first video I saw is still open, because I only got to one of the 3-5 videos on the watch page sidebar, and more kept coming in as I watched more videos. I now have probably around 150 videos, and I went from late 2016, to early 2015, to early 2017, to mid 2017, to early 2019, to mid 2019, to mid 2020, and I have to go back and finish everything. I’ll let you guys know when I’m finished. I have deleted/privated singles, compilations, one singular unlisted single, and even without the Wayback Machine, because I’ve been watching this channel for 2 years, I was able to find some ended livestreams in old playlists of mine, as well as more unlisted singles from 2016-2018 that I saved 2 years ago from 2016x2018 while looking through other playlists in search results, because I didn’t have the capability to do a big Wayback machine search back then. On the Wayback Machine, I was also able to find out that the original studio ghibli streams from 2017 that hit copyrighted and replaced with Jade, glitched and restarted around every 2 months, and now they glitch and restart every 2-4 years. Like I said, I want to finish everything soon, and I’ll keep you guys posted.

I went on the Wayback Machine today only to find out that there are TONS more deleted videos than I thought. Like HUNDREDS. Where can I find them on YouTube without any changes in frequency or removals/muted parts due to copyright? I really wanna find them because this music embodies a whole era. The same songs/playlists on other music platforms won’t do it for me. I need the visuals used in the original videos and well as the full, unchanged audio. Can anyone help me? Some videos are unlisted but Ive only found 5. If you have like on old lofi girl/chilledcow YouTube playlist or something, please look through it and give me links to more unlisted/deleted videos (yes, you can still get the links for deleted videos). I also have links to a bunch of live streams that ended, so yeah. I’ll post the links of the videos I’ve successfully found, have partially found (unlisted/re uploaded with changed frequencies/muted or clipped for copyright), live streams that have ended, and just have the links to in the comments tomorrow. Can someone tell me what the difference is (other than the art) between the "lofi hip hop radio beats to sleep/ chill" and the "sleep lofi radio relaxing music to sleep/ dream" are?

Iv been going back and forth for a while now and they play the same song at the same time. Is it litteraly just the art that's different?

today i was about to do something and i wanted some easy going/ background music, and was there when i noticed my old lofi playlist with almost 200 singles which only 20 survived

and to this day still dont know why and what happend to the channel that had all the singles from diferent albums

(also miss the albums realeses)
