I started Loki last year, watched two episodes, and dropped it. This year I went back, did all of season 1, and finished season 2 this week.

That finale left me with a bunch of questions I didn't have answers for. The branching, the variants, the TVA sitting outside of time. I couldn't place any of it against everything else in the MCU. So I went reading to try and sort it out, like everybody does. Blogs, wikis, timeline posts, the usual rabbit hole.

I found some good stuff. There's a Marvel Story Map on DeviantArt that's basically a dense poster. ScreenRant covered an infographic of the whole multiverse that made the branching click for me. The Ultimate MCU Watch Order on Letterboxd is the one I'd send to someone starting from zero. Lucen has a chart that lays the phases against the actual chronology, and the Fandom timeline has everything if you're willing to dig.

It was all static though, and I wanted to move it around, poke at it, click on things, and I couldn't. That's where the idea came from.

So I built it. geektimelines.com

It's one big canvas you drag and zoom around, with everything on it and lines running between the things that actually connect. Hover over anything and its threads light up while the rest fades back, so you can see at a glance what that story touches. Click it and a panel opens with the context of what it is, plus the full list of what it leads to and what it came from, and every one of those is clickable, so you can keep pulling the thread and the map follows you. You can also flip the whole thing between in-universe order and release order, which is worth messing with because the two are wildly different.

The plan now is to keep building this out, make the MCU timeline richer, and after a while start new ones. DC, Star Wars, whatever else I end up feeling like doing. It's a fun project for me. The idea is to take the universes I've been following for years and give them a shape, something you can actually click around and dig into, so I get to poke at them the way I wanted to in the first place, and other people who are into this stuff can get something out of it too.

Specifically Loki x Mobius. Loki is a confirmed bisexual I need to expand more on this head canon… Does anyone have any recs?

I haven't fully finished season 2 and can't stop thinking about these questions.

1. why are there different variations of loki at all, if loki just escaping causes the tva to go after him why would one be allowed to be female, let alone an alligator.

2. How does the tva work into the Multiverse.

3. Does each universe have a tva or is there one tva that's connected to the entire Multiverse.

4. if there's one tva why would there be a Multiverse if they were constantly making corrections to the sacred timeline and making everything happen how it was "supposed to" wouldn't that mean the Multiverse wouldn't exist?

so at the start, Loki breaks the sacred timeline by using the tessoract that Tony is trying to take for endgame. Loki is then arrested and the rest of loki proceeds. This all makes sense.

However it's said that the Avengers were meant to go back in time and do what they did. my question is why was Tony and Caps journey to 1970 allowed when it was a direct effect from Loki splitting the timeline.

If loki never escaped, tony and cap would never had to go to 1970 and get more pym particles/the tessoract. Does anyone understand what im asking? sorry if its a bit weird.

This truly is a show you HAD to see when it first came out. In 2021, no one knew about Kang yet, so the twists worked a lot better then. Now, when you remember all the drama that happened with Jon Majors, it's harder to be invested when we know it's not leading to Kang becoming the Avengers' next big threat. It's obviously not this show's fault that the Kang plots are hollow in hindsight, but it's still pretty noticeable. It doesn't help that a good chunk of Season 2 is centered around a variant of Kang. That being said, I didn't despise this show. Is it good? No, but compared to the other TV disasters Marvel has cooked up in the 2020s, it's fairly harmless. I did enjoy Classic Loki and I wish he appeared in more episodes.

Episode 7 of season 2 was AWESOME , Definitely my most favourite Episode . What are your guys opinion on this newly released extra episode

Hi! One of the first book series I read was the “Unfettered series” on Wattpad by TheseHallowedRoses.

I’m looking for a book with the same feeling and a similar kind of Loki. A loki that definitely has a darker side. BUT he becomes incredibly loving and protective over the FMC. Only well written ones that are either one longer book or a series. I don’t want mini book with only erotica. I’m definitely looking for books with spice, but like there is a plot too.

Another Loki book I have read to is “The order of chaos: a Loki Norse fantasy” and although I haven’t finished it yet, this is NOT what I’m looking for. In this book Loki literally cheats by fu\*king another woman without a second thought. I want NO owd (Other women drama) of any kind.

Ps: I don’t mind if it’s a Loki romance that is marvel fan fiction with all the marvel characters like Tony, Steve etc, but I’m honestly more in the mood for somthing more Asgard/norse mythology kinda vibe. With shining cities, fantasy, gods etc.

I've seen a lot of leaks this week, some look credible, others not so much, but all to be taken with a pinch of salt at the moment!

What I want to ask is, IF they kill Loki in the movie and then bring him back again, would you be satisfied if they brought back Infinity War Loki to be the MCU Loki going forward? Or would you prefer they resurrect TVA Loki as the main MCU Loki??

I know a lot of fans would love a reunion between Infinity War Loki and Thor. But I have really loved Loki's character growth in the TVA. And as he is still technically a 616 Loki, his brother is still Thor. So I personally would love a reunion between them.

I'll be honest, I would be gutted if they kept the infinity War Loki, the Loki that doesn't know Sylvie or Mobius or any of his friends in the TVA. As gutted as I was when he died. I feel like TVA Loki is the ultimate Loki now.

Maybe there's a universe where they both could exist? 🤷🏼‍♀️

I just really want them to do his story justice. And I feel like getting rid of the God of stories Loki all together would be a real waste. What do you think?

I think Loki is needed for Secret War so at least Loki GoS won't die

Loki, being a shapeshifter, doesn't need to die for a recast, nor he needs an alternative timeline to justify his change in appearance! He will simply morph into someone else!

It’s been a hot minute since I last read a loki x reader fanfic, but I’ve been doing a marvel/ mcu binge to prep for dooms day and it’s gotten me into a mood for it. I would love a LONG (l00,00 words plus) loki x reader fanfic, I love a good slow burn and of welcome some spice as well. Please give me all and any of your recommendations!

I’m really struggling to understand the show/why I should care about what’s happening to these characters.

I know it’s a me problem I’m not saying the show is bad but I’m on S2 E3 right now and I’m like there’s 3 episodes left, I have no idea where the show is going, I don’t know what the goal is and if every character present on screen got killed I’d feel nothing.

Question being, will this be important for Doomsday (if people know that?) and should I keep at it so I at least have some frame of reference once the movie is out.

I’ve gained insight to the point of the show and had some things explained which has helped me a tremendous amount.

I’ve also been told YouTube recaps exist which is new info for me so I’ll be heading there for better understanding too.
