Sitting on the corner of Arlington and Boylston streets, the Arlington Building was mostly known by Bostonians as the longtime former home of the Shreve Crump & Low Jewelry Store.
It was demolished with the adjacent buildings (I could not find a date for these) to build a new modern glass block. It sat empty for a years before demolishment so that the owner could find the “ideal” office tenents for the new building.

This was Japan's first office building, constructed in 1894 based on the design of a British architect. Although it was demolished in 1968 and a high-rise building was erected on the site, it was rebuilt in 2009 using the same materials and concepts as the original 19th-century structure and now serves as an art museum.

Planned in 1947, due to political and economic problems after the break up of relations with USSR it was completed and opened in 1969.

An 1892 Richardsonian Romanesque building that served as the Turtle Way headquarters in the 1950s. In 1956, Turtle Wax placed a massive 34-foot, 15,000-pound fiberglass and steel turtle wearing a top hat and holding a wax bottle on the roof. The glowing, rotating sign was taken down in the late 1960s when the company moved, and the building was eventually demolished. Today, the site is a small landscaped traffic triangle.

Château Miranda (also known as Château de Noisy) was a striking 19th-century Neo-Gothic castle located in Celles, province of Namur, Belgium. Once considered a masterpiece of fairy-tale architecture and a legendary destination for urban explorers, the castle was completely demolished in October 2017 after falling into severe disrepair.
