My mother is a literal angel. She is the kindest, most selfless person I know and made my childhood as close to perfect as I would imagine is humanly possible. She would never DREAM of spending money for a LV for herself, so I did it for her!!! Certainly in no way comes close to repaying her for everything she’s done for me, but it still felt nice to see her face when I walked in the door with that orange bag 🥹

I went with the boulogne PM and she absolutely LOVES it (in fact I’m wondering if I might need one now as well😅)

Side note this woman is 62 and has ZERO work done. She’s a beauty, isn’t she?!

I posted earlier about which bag to get as my first. It was between the Hazelnut Speedy 20, monogram speedy 20, or OnTheGo east west monogram reverse. I decided that if I didn’t get the hazelnut, I would regret it bc it can worn in the summer and fall so it’s perfect for me, and I could always get the monogram speedy like someone had mentioned.

I would like to find a shoulder strap chain so I could use it as a shoulder bag, so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know!

I’d been looking for a Jacquard Damier Ebene strap since the Speedy 30 strap can get uncomfortable, especially when I need to carry more things. I found this one on eBay pretty much brand new (unused) with the dust bag and tag, it was authenticated, and it was a great price compared to the few others that were listed. It arrived yesterday, and it’s much more comfortable than the leather strap. I'm so glad I was able to find one that matches the DE!

Bought for $470 on EBay she is much more yellow than the pictures portray and reeks of cigarettes 😭😭 the inside is clean, it's the outside that has that strong odor. Any suggestions on how I can get rid of that? She's also kind of sticky 🤮 should I even try to clean or just see about returning?

I have an Louis Vuitton Noé PM in monogram canvas, vintage. I’ve searched EVERYWHERE for the date code: strap buckle, base of the strap, D-ring, leather loop, inside the bag… nothing clearly legible.

I do have a clear close-up photo of the only stamp I could find (attached below), but I can’t make out what it says with certainty.

Does anyone recognize this stamp/location on a Noé PM?

Which bag do you prefer: Speedy 25 in Damier Ebene or Boulogne PM?

I already own the speedy 25 in classic monogram and in Murakami white multicolore, but I’d like to add another everyday bag in a similar size to my collection. Preferably without the vachetta as a carefree winter option.

I adore the classic speedy silhouette and love collecting it in different patterns. I also love the shape and versatility of the Boulogne, it seems effortless to wear on the shoulder or crossbody. My only hesitation is that I dislike how the black leather corner patches look.

If you could choose only one, which would you pick and why?

I am still trying to make this monster bag smaller so I can use the size of P9-40 wothout it looking so big, so i can use it daily not for just travel. At least until the “new wears off”. I thought I’d try a new strap-(the chain strap from my coussin).
Since the strap is shorter, the falls above my hip and it makes the bag slouch more too.
It does add additional weight (to an already hefty bag) but I really like the way it looks now.
What do y’all think? Does the strap help make it less bulky/large looking for me? Or should I keep trying?

Finally saved up to buy myself my first LV bag! I fell in love with the Liv when I saw her and was holding out for any other colors other than the monogram and black. I missed the crème drop, but lighter colors aren’t really my style. I went with the Garnet as I love this color!

Okay, so I am new to luxury purses and looking to buy my first LV.

There was a reseller selling a 2016 Bandouliere 25 and asking $1,750. Why so expensive?

It was originally listed as in “good condition” then she came back and said it was “excellent condition”. It came with the original strap, bandeau, and the lock and keys it came with. They have the original receipt, certificate etc.

Is this a normal price range for something like this?

I cannot get over the honey patina - she was gorgeous!!!! But for the price I can buy a new one. The canvas does seem to be much better quality for the 2016 one though.

Debating between the on the go MM or the Neverfull MM to use as my diaper bag. I know the neverfull is popular as a diaper bag option, but I love the look of the on the go.

Hubby bought me a Victorine wallet in 2018 in the UK, at Heathrow Airport, we live in Australia.
I haven’t used it very much because I was always concerned about colour transfer with the Damier Azur canvas. It does have some signs of wear, including cracked edges in a couple of spots, but otherwise it’s in great condition.
Recently I noticed that the wallet has developed that awful ‘vomit’ smell I’ve seen people discussing on this forum, as I understand there was a fault with glue during a certain period of time.
What do you think my chances are of LV agreeing to replace it? Has anyone in Australia had a similar experience with an older LV item purchased overseas?

Advice needed! I just opened up my new mini bumbag and the first thing I see is a dent right on the top of the bag. Do I send back and request a new one or hope that with time it will somehow smooth out? I’m not that picky of a person but I paid way too much money for quality control to miss something like this. I was so excited to get this bag after not purchasing anything from them since 2018. Now I’m wondering if quality has just completely gone out the window. Even the box is cheaper that what the bags used to come in. For anyone who has sent a bag back, was it a total headache? Also, why do they just throw the chain in the bag? Come on… for the price I paid, you could have at least put it in a plastic bag.
*edit-clearly someone returned the bag bc the strap was already attached when I opened the box. All the unboxing videos I have seen show the strap inside the bag. Really disappointing.
