Any fellow MassMills residents - if you have been experiencing problems with lack of hot water or overheating in the winter season and are interested in taking legal action please contact me, I’m currently putting a case together for my family and I firmly believe that we aren’t the only ones.

I just moved to the area recently and discovered the rail trail, but I ended up having a pretty difficult time navigating it once I hit the Chelmsford St area and have to start going onto sidewalks.
Maybe there were more signs, but every time I've gotten to that area, I started feeling a bit confused and didn't want to risk getting lost or off course.
I've looked at Google/Apple maps, but the actual signage along some parts of the trail get confusing for me when physically there.

Open Streets Lowell, a 100% volunteer-run event, is back for the second year on Sat, Oct 3rd, 2026. This year, we've kept the same footprint, but expanded our hours from Noon to 5 PM and added performances due to popular demand, which means we need even more help than ever!
We are still looking for people to assist with all aspects of the event, from set up (9 am - Noon), event run (Noon - 5 pm) and take-down (5 pm - 8 pm). We'd appreciate any and all community help. For more information, visit our Ways to Support

Having a hard time distinguishing between democratic candidates?
Check Masscare.org to see if the candidate has pledged to support Medicare for all, which would save 98% of us money, save the state nearly 30 billion, and save Lowell 24 million. Not to mention expanding care & improving the health of our residents. Today’s election is important!

Just seen on Dutton and Canal Street. T Shirts have Union Logo and the word "Union" on the front and they do have a banner. I was not able to read all of it but I did see mention of Draper Labs, Cambridge, and (perhaps) a reference to building/construction. Does anyone have any information?

Hey folks it’s your pal Ren Marquez
Schools back and I’m already over traffic.
Come out, grab a drink, hear some comics, and forget about whatever bullshit you had to deal with all day.

It’s not surprising that the shitposting during this local primary is as bad as it is. Disappointing yes, surprising no.
Which campaigns are you most excited about? Whose comments and posts are the most disappointing?

After weeks of them putting up the road closed sign during the day even while nothing was actually happening, I think people got conditioned to go around it. Saw several go around it this afternoon before getting to this spot and realizing they really meant it this time lol.

What do we think of Ryan v. Solet for DA?

I find it interesting how after criticizing Betts for being supported by the Massachusetts branch of a national org, saying she's getting outside dark money, there's now this automated text with an area code that (at least according to google) is from the Florida panhandle supporting him.

Prices in the city have gone up ridiculously. Does anyone know of any apartments for rent for around $1,500

Anyone know what’s going in where party city used to be? Looks like they’re blocking off the doors, is market basket extending out?! (Wishful thinking that they’d expand to have the coffee etc like the Nashua one).

I spent a couple of hours wandering around Cupples Square this morning. I enjoyed myself and got good food.
It’s not a part of Lowell I’m really familiar with , but it doesn’t seem like it’s in the conversation very much.
Good food and interesting shopping choices. Busy public facing businesses. Certainly significant potential for further growth and improvement.
Thoughts?

This may be the most important question of our time. What is it about Market Basket's own brand of mayo that makes it better than Hellman's or Duke's? The answer could solve all the world's problems, so I'd like to hear your theories.
Growing up I hated Hellman's. There's something about the aroma or the aftertaste or a combination of the two that was nauseating. It turned me off of mayo. But I do love my tuna fish sandwiches, so I was in a conundrum.
Of course, then I found out about Miracle Whip which most do not consider real mayo but more of a "salad dressing" because of ingredient amounts, but I did like it, I have to admit.
Then I moved to New England and started making stuff that required mayo and not Miracle Whip. I thought maybe my tastes changed and I bought some Hellman's. Ugh... still annoying. Tried Duke's, etc. OK, but still... meh.
Then I was poor and bought Market Basket on a whim.
Woah. WAY better. Wow. A nice punch... no sickening aftertaste.
But why?
I looked at the ingredients. It's not fake. It's mayo.
So why do I think it's great, but I think all the other mayos are boring or disgusting?
Hopefully the UN is listening and world harmony will be achieved once we realize the answer to this burning age-old question.

Does anyone have experience with the units here? I just signed a lease but it looks like there’s a strict policy on decorating. Is it possible to have nails in the walls for framed artwork as I have an extensive collection?

Hey everyone, I’m moving to Lowell in September to start working at IBM and I’m currently trying to figure out housing.
Ideally I’d like to find a roommate who’s also starting at IBM, but I’m also open to living with another young professional in the area.
I’m also looking to connect with other people starting at IBM Lowell this fall, so if you’re in the same situation or know of any roommate/housing groups, feel free to DM me!

Super random but the lowell tbell is consistently great. The one near Rourke bridge. Kudos to the workers!! Drive through & in person. Definitely bc you can’t online order, and that maybe helps them not be as busy- but love them. I genuinely never have a bad experience there.
